So peaceful and quiet, still a lot of renovation going on. Nice spot at the side with picnic tables to sit and rest.

An astonishing, almost overwhelming, sense of the living Spirit. We were there on our own (it being a weekday lock down). I sang Taize ubi caritas" in thanks. Playing around with timing

What a majestic building. Absolutely beautiful and in a very tranquil setting. The inside of this Abbey is just divine and has some great information about the history behind it.The Abbey felt very peaceful and respectful of my own personal grief. How lucky we are to be able to enjoy places like this for donation only.

Interesting building with many changes and additions through time. What a shame that the main entrance is only accessible by foot from a long distance across private land. There is no obvious parking anywhere for visitors who have travelled to explore the history and beauty of this Abbey.

Dore abbey is a beautiful, soulful place. Also has superb acoustics, so great for concerts. It's worth reading up on the architectural history

Beautiful old Abbey in the small village of Dore, Herefordshire. Seating picnic area at the rear of the Abbey to take time to relax and contemplate.

We visited for a music recital. The building is very interesting with lots of interesting things to see within the Abbey.
