Llangorse Lake
Lovely place to go with the family or for a scenic walk. We stayed quite close on a camping site not far away and stumbled across this place and what a lovely surprise. Shops on site that sell most things, lovely food as well. The area was clean and well maintained, with toilets on site as well. Staff were friendly enough and helped when we asked questions. We unfortunately couldn't go out on the water as we were told it was full of algae. Harmful algae and cyanobacteria (sometimes called blue-green algae) can produce toxins (poisons) that can make people and animals sick and affect the environment. Not the end of the world but rather be safe than sorry. Local ducks and swans roaming free which was nice too see, they do get close as you can see in some of my pictures so just watch out for that. All in all a lovely place to go visit.

Fantastic place for a family outing with free parking on Llangorse Common. A word of warning though: the common gets really flooded after the rains, so not great if you’re intending to hike up Allt yr Esgair! See last photo!

Had difficuities sitting outside the cafe due to loose stones affecting my father's mobility in his wheelchair, however a lovely few hours out with beautiful views and a really helpful gentleman helping with the disablement toilet.

Great beautiful location Lovely walk around the lake. Please be careful that during certain times in winter the lake will flood and the path that is normally used to go around is limited in places.During the summer you can hire boats onto the lake and this is really a beautiful romantic location when the Sun is shining. The café is normally close to room winter so again please be aware limitations around this time of year.

Wonderful set of walks that get more beautiful the more you walk on. Busy carpark but plenty of spaces. Good for all ages - even interactive activities for little ones! Do wear suitable footwear as some paths are marshy. Café has good social distancing guidelines and one way system.

Did someone say mystical beasts? Yep it's got one! It's got an island built by the celts!! It's also got A sword in a stone, ice-cream, pedalos, rowing boats, ducks, fish, history, horses and other things.Unbelievable views an amazing sunset. Oh there's a pokestop there too if your into that sort of thing.

This is great fun for families. Loads of space to use various boats, knacks and pedalos. Friendly staff. Nice open space. Plenty of parking and really good and clean toilets!

What a fantastic place, we only wished we had more time to spend there and hire a boat.
