First class service and finish on our wall from Barney. Unfortunately our wall had fallen down but luckily Barney came round to rebuild it and did an exceptional job and we’re chuffed with the outcome. Would highly recommend him. Very personable and passionate to do a good job for us.

Barney, El and Peter are great craftsmen and completed the repointing and Bath stone repairs to the front of our house. Barney kept us well informed throughout and even lent me some of his materials so that I could complete the re-painting. Excellent team to have worked with.

Definitely highly recommend Barney - he repointed and partially rebuilt a very high wall behind our house with lime mortar. He and his dad did a beautiful job for a really fair price, and it all went super smoothly. He handled everything including scaffolding and getting bricklayers in for a separate part of it. Great communication, calm, reliable and lovely to deal with throughout. We'd ask him to help again without hesitation:)

We are very pleased with the work done to repair our wall (repointing and mortar capping) by Peter (Barney's Dad), and Barney. It is now a lovely feature wall! True craftsmen, with a focus on restoration. Communication was good, they were friendly and professional, and left everything tidy. We had to wait a few months before they were able to do the work, but the wait was definitely worth it!

Barney and El have done a super job repointing the back of my old stone cottage and rebuilding a dry stone wall on my driveway. The work is excellent and we are very pleased with the look, especially the dry stone wall. Barney and El were both polite and hard working, and happy to talk the job through as it progressed. They also cleaned up thoroughly, removing all waste and leaving the site tidy. We're so impressed that we've already booked them in to do more work next month!

Repointing of back wall of house in lime mortar - from start to finish Barney and his father were very informative and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job. Valuable time was spent matching the mortar colour and the finished job lived up to expectations - would use again if I needed any other specialist stone work jobs on the house.

We had a rear stone wall that was falling down and curving. Barney did an incredible job rebuilding it. We found Barnowl Stone to be competitive and Barney was punctual and completed the job within the timescale. He kept the work area tidy and was polite to tenants and neighbours during the works. We will be using him again and would highly recommend him!

Entire bath stone section on the front of our Victorian house needed to be stripped of render & paint, and then repaired & renewed. Barney & Sol did this all to an excellent standard, with great communication throughout the whole process. Quote was also very reasonable compared to some we sought out. Would highly recommend!
