I was after a skateboard with a specific budget in mind, and ideally wanted to pick out components that had certain characteristics. Was helped through the whole process and put together a board that was in budget, the benefits of each of the components were explained, he answered any questions I had. Really happy with the board and would definitely recommend the store. All in all a great experience.

I'm a coventry resident, however when I'm in Birmingham I always have to drop in and say hi, I love visiting and looking at the boards and the vast variety of gear they have in stock, friendly and cheerful staff and always helpful, make sure to support your local skate shops.

Absolute legends, after I ordered online they emailed to advise me that the combo of trucks/board I'd gone for wasn't an ideal match up, so called up, got good advice, ended up with a better set up. That's good honest service. Reminds me why they've been open since I was a kid!

The next time I visit my family in brum I will definitely be stopping by here. I ordered a hoodie online on the Sunday and by Wednesday morning it had arrived. Beat Asos premier that’s for sure! The hoodie even came with a discount which was great. The fit is also perfect, I was worried it would be too big. I am very pleased, thank you!

Went in here last week to pick up a decent starter board. Was looking to build one originally but when I said I was just starting out the shopkeeper didn't try to push expensive products on me, he described in detail what the starter boards were like and how they'll suit me, and that was great. Wasn't pressured into buying anything I didn't want, and walked out with a brand new pre built board and I love it! Will absolutely be coming back for all my skateboarding needs in future from now on! Thanks for the help in starting me off on my (potentially painful) journey!!!

Bought a pair of skate shoes here and was very impressed with the service!Owner at the time had a broken arm but was super helpful in helping me try a few pairs on and get the perfect fit!Very knowledgeable about skating and.riding in Brum...will be coming back here for my next pair of shoes as he has brands/styles not available elsewhere in the region!!

We placed an order with ideal on a Sunday, not long before they were closing. I thought that we would be waiting around a week for delivery. The next thing I know there's a knock at the door and the owner of ideal (not sure of his name) is at my door with the deck, trucks, grip tape etc. How amazing is that for service.My son was over the moon.Many thanks to idealGeraldine
