You can pick up all sorts of lovely retro/classic or antique bargains! The last time we popped in we got a nice hand drill, an Edwardian drop leaf table and a barometer that needed the most minor of repairs!Lovely staff, a real local institution.

The service you get here is second to none.I selected five pieces of furniture online and visited the store to inspect them in person. The guys provided excellent advice, and we scheduled a same-day delivery to my nearby location.I was amazed at the speed and precision with which they handled the challenging task of bringing the heavy furniture up the stairs. It's no easy feat! The team also displayed a perfect balance of professionalism and good craic, which is always essential in my eyes.I'll definitely be returning soon. Ta

My daughter and I came in today to shop for her 'grown-up' bedroom and absolutely loved it. The staff are very genial and gave us service with a smile. We went back to grab a couple of items we'd forgotten and had them added to our delivery. Nothing was an issue and we were made to feel really welcome.We can't wait to visit again!

Rammed full of amazing junk and treasure, but the pricing is inconsistent. Sometimes silly high, sometimes amazing low. One could spend hours sifting its stuff over three levels.

Loved dealing with Scotts Furniture Mart when I was purchasing a cabinet from them recently. They (Ron) was very patient in answering all my questions via e-mail. When we worked out we would not be able to fit it in my car they helped us find a very reasonably priced courier service that delivered within a few days. Overall very happy with the cabinet, it will make a great project to work on. My only regret was that as it wouldn't fit in the car we didn't get to travel to the store and have a browse around!

Absolutely love this place! Dropped in when collecting some side tables from Junk Deluxe. Can't wait to visit again soon. Items are reasonably priced and the staff are very helpful. Highly recommend a visit!

Scotts is one of Margate's institutions!A huge old Ice factory packed full of antiques, bricabrac and DIY stuff for your home.A right of passage for any new resident of Thanet is buying something for your new home here.Scotts have specialised in house clearances for decades and they get the very best selection of old furniture and quirky things you never knew you needed! They deliver too, both locally and regularly ship out abroad.Family run, the friendliest, funnest places in Margate. Every trip back to Margate, I always make a pilgrimage and come away with something!!
