We had to stay on Easter Sunday for a wedding and for the price we paid and the service we got it was absolutely incredible!!We arrived, were seen to immediately, took down our breakfast order for the morning and asked what time we'd like breakfast, we were shown to our room which was just perfect, it was clean, light and welcoming, we were told all the information we needed to know and then got dressed and headed out all day!!I had a wonderfully comfortable sleep, my partner however said the pillows were to thick for him but that's very much personal preference. The breakfast was so delicious, a full English with all the trimmings (if you wanted them) not just some continental breakfast bar.The only note I could make is that the soundproofing could be better as i could hear conversations, not clearly but enough, I'm a very sound sleeper so if you were a light sleeper it may be an issue. We had an amazing 1 night stay, the service was brilliant and the room clean and comfortable.

The Flying Bull Inn is situated in a perfect location to stay, and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Eating breakfast and dinner here is a must as the food is delicious. The service is just what you want when you are travelling abroad - warm and inviting.

After abandoning our reservation at The Deers Hut (owing to very slow service to even order a drink) we dropped into The Flying Bull. The menu was modest in size (a plus in my book), the food and beer was tasty and the staff were attentive and smiling. They were more than happy to have us and they turned a disappointment at The Deers Hut into an enjoyable evening. Thank you!

Had several rooms booked for my dads wedding and I asked for an extra night which wasn't a problem. Was asked to pay for the extra night when I arrived and paid without quibble as all my family were there and we were ready to eat. After closer inspection we were charged 35 more them the website rate and 29 more than booking. Given all the rooms we booked (5) and large dinner bill we were very disappointed to learn you ripped us off for the second night. My wife politely questioned this with you and was met with a hostile response from not one staff member but 3 of you Including the manager leaving her in tears .The attitude from staff members including the owner/manager was generally appalling with snide remarks/eye rolling, complaining and tutting. Several of the party remarked to me about the poor attitude of staff. One of the complaints from staff was I've only got one pair of hands". Knowing how many of people were going to be staying maybe you should have been adequately staffed for the occasion instead of being rude to us.We left before our second night because we were so appalled at the backlash we received to a reasonable request for Info on our room rate.We sent an email several days ago requesting a refund for the second night and it's been completely ignored. We won't let it go quietly as we've paid 110 and got nothing in return except a lot of grief and attitude.Prepared to go to legal hotel arbitration if necessaryThe food is excessively priced. £9 for a basic desert. I wouldn't recommend this place in a million years"

One of those places small enough where you walk in and everyone looks at you and listens to your whole check in food etc etc. That wasn't nice for me. Breakfast was regimented and didn't get a lot even tho it was nice enough. Cosy fire and maybe I'm behind the times but a bit pricey overall. At breakfast we were all told not to charge our devices for some reason, again seems a bit antiquated.

We arrived very nearly towards the end of food being served. But no fuss or bother they accommodated us. 2 of us had steak, other had chicken and leek pie. It came promptly and was delicious. Had a good banter with the lady looking after us. It was the highlight of our day after a 400 mile journey, tent set up in wind and rain. Goodwood FOS was cancelled so a bit far to drive for pub lunch. But hopefully we'll return next year. Little cottages looked nice from the outside too

Stayed at At the Flying Bull whilst helping with a move. Lovely comfortable rooms and a very warm welcome by everyone. We had breakfast and dinner for two days and it was very tasty with a good choice. Very relaxing after a hard couple of days.
