Wooladon Estate

We’ve just spent the most wonderful Christmas in the big house! Super location, amazing house, really well equipped and the Mounce family are incredible (so willing to help and make sure you have a great stay). We will definitely be heading back at some point soon!

Absolutely beautiful place so cosy, clean and beautifuly decorated. Couldn't ask for better. Their farm shop is one of the best I've been to and only a short walk away. We had a lovely walk around the estate and could have easily just stayed at the cottage the whole trip. Thank you so much for making it dog friendly, so lucky to have a beautiful place that accepts dogs.

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Wooladon as our wedding venue a couple of weeks ago. We fell in love with the venue each time we visited beforehand and it was perfect for our wedding celebrations. It’s so beautiful, extremely spacious and accommodating - we ended up having heavy rain on our wedding reception evening however there’s enough indoor space that this didn’t stop it from being an amazing night. Thank you so much to Beth and the team for helping us with all of the setup and arrangements, we really couldn’t have asked for more

A real pleasure to stay with my family on this estate whilst visiting relatives locally. The accommodation is clean, well laid out and had everything we needed. The staff are friendly and only to happy to help you make the most of your stay. The local farm shop is very popular and run as part of the estate. There is loads to do in the local area and walking on the estate is an absolute pleasure.

Fabulous! Have stayed at the Pheasant Barn for 2 Christmases on the trot. Absolutely fantastic, lovely welcome pack, dog friendly. What more can I say except we can't wait for our break this Christmas.

We were lucky enough to book Wooladon Estate for our wedding in August '23. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location to host our friends and family for the whole weekend. The day itself was perfect and everything we could have hoped for and more. We were able to have our ceremony outside by the lake, which was wonderful. They also have a quaint and charming ceremony room for when the weather isn't so kind and for those wanting an indoor ceremony.Beth was so so helpful from start to finish, with prompt communication and a calm, organised influence on the day itself. Being able to have someone to ensure that the day was running smoothly was a godsend and we really appreciated it.Everyone staying at the Estate with us were thrilled with the accommodation and we had lots of comments about what an amazing location it was.I highly recommend Wooladon Estate for the perfect wedding location, whatever time of year it is.

Excellent accommodation peaceful and quiet with acre's of land bordering two rivers and plenty to eat from the farm shop .

Great place to stay. We stayed for our honeymoon and couldn't fault it. Nice and secluded. Will visit again, hopefully next year!
