We absolutely loved this site. Despite the torrential rain, we had a wonderful time. The staff are brilliant - love you all, ladies (and Glynn), the cafe and bar are well priced and the food is delicious, the Paddock is so cute with wallabies and alpacas and ducks plus the rest and the view is amazing. The pitches are a good size and the shower block is clean, warm and welcoming. Definitely coming back next year. Jackie, you have been warned! xxxxx

Only their second season so it’s still very new & developing. Offering pitches or self catering wagons. The family team are super welcoming & friendly. Just loved them. The facilities were amazingly clean & the showers very hot & powerful. Added bonus is the shower heads aren’t fixed so perfect for us ‘girlies’!!Views are amazing and it’s a very quiet site, but still very child/dog friendly. Please remember Dogs are to be kept ON their leads at all times even around your own pitch! There are ducks & peacocks roaming freely plus a small petting area & a great playground for children ages I’d say 2-12 would be perfect.Durham is only 30 minutes away.
