Barbell Training Complex
Brilliant gym, staff and equipment, even other gym goers contribute to a great friendly atmosphere that will help you see what's possible and encourage you to grow. They have also finally started to do classes, really excited about this. I highly recommend, for anyone a bit unsure, to start there. Trainers are all very patient, highly qualified and eager to see you succeed, you'll be able to get comfortable in the environment in no time. I've only tried the Functional" class so far

Make no mistake. This is a powerlifting gym. Whole area downstairs is dedicated to powerlifting with a range of free weights. Upstairs they have some decent plate loaded resistance machines and benches, Smith machine and sled. I saw 1 stair master and a couple free-belt treadmills. Car park is tiny and tucked round the back, you can park on the road outside IF you can find a space. £7 for a day pass, defo go check it out before you join. Can imagine parking and getting in equipment you want is a nightmare at peak times.

Barbells classes are top class, each class taught my a specialist in that area. Faye’s mobility class is something I never knew how badly I needed and the circuits with Will and Damon are tough… but super varied which keeps things really interesting.This gym just keeps getting better and better!

Fantastic gym. High level equipment and high level knowledge from the coaches. It’s a tiny bit scary at first but I’ve found everyone to be both helpful and lovely. It’s an additive environment.

Very nice people (both staff and clients) and super atmosphere. Accepting of all, from powerlifting champions to first timers. Best gym I've been to so far! They have powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding and cardio equipment all under one roof!

Went here for ABPU qualifiers great gym and good set up. Only thing could have been better was briefing the spectators to keep out the way of lifters. Otherwise, it was an amazing experience, and I'm glad I came here to compete
