The rating for this chinese takeway does not reflect the reality. We use this chinese regularly and the quality of food is always very high. Even during lockdown, when other takeaways were not serving their normal standard of quality (maybe due to missing ingredients or high volume of orders) we found that Elements' food was always the same high standard.We only ever collect the food and have never received a delivery due to our location so cannot comment on the delivery service.

Ok - it's not the best. My chicken fried rice was OK but the rest of the family didn't like their foodProbably best to avoid - go to the pub down the street

I have been a customer of Elements takeaway for years. Following an experience yesterday, I will no longer be a customer. I ordered salted chilli chicken with boiled rice, sweet and sour chicken balls and chips and beef udon noodles. When I returned home my eldest child realised that we had been sent salted chilli prawns instead of chicken. The food had already been shared out on plates. Instead of boiled rice we had been sent fried rice. I phoned and explained the issue and was asked to bring back the incorrect food to get the order corrected. I explained that it had already been put on plates and was mixed with other food so it would not be possible. If I was returning it, it would be the entire order and I would want it all recooked correctly. I was told not to worry about it and just to call down for the correct food. By the time I had arrived at Elements my wife had already taken a call at home and they were again requesting return of the food. She explained that I had left already and to take it up with me when I got there. The girl behind the counter blamed training a new staff member for the mix up, but they have regularly messed up my order when there was no new staff member so I think it was unprofessional and unfair to blame the new girl for the mess. The manager" started shouting at me in Chinese from the back of the kitchen

got food poisoning from them, will never ever be back.

Had from here a couple of previous times and it was touch and go.After last night's order I will definitely not be back.Spent £30 on a take away and it was all binned.The chicken was like a bouncy ball spat it back out ate small amount of it and I wish I hadn't.Currently what I did it is coming out of both ends disgusting.

Decent Chinese. Curries are pretty good and chicken in black pepper sauce is tasty. Prices are not overly expensive and you get a good portion. Worth a visit or a delivery.

Going 15 years same place every week never once had a bad meal love this place

Got a delivery last night, the chicken was OFF, which meant we couldn't eat any of the meal as it was on the same plate. Rang and were told the kitchen was too busy and they would ring bk later. Never did. Rang bk tonight and told they would not refund the order. Customer service disgraceful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Place has gone to the dogs. I placed an order for collection today, I was advised to come in 15 mins, which would have been 19:20. I'm still sitting there in the Chinese at 20:00. I eventually get my order and head home which is about 3 miles away. Guess what, my order is wrong. They admit fault on the phone but I have to bring the opened food to them to exchange for what I actually wanted!! No joke!! I get home again and discover that we were not given the correct amount of chicken balls in the rest of our order. Again this wouldn't have been our fault, there was no way in hell I woul be heading back there tonight or any other time. Pointless complaining. Never fecking again
