It's an awesome shop the people there are really nice

I really like it because you can just go there and they probably have what u need even for kids. The people who work there are really kind!!

The staff at Mal's news are always a pleasure to talk to. They greet you with a smile and are genuinely interested in their customers and their wellbeing.The shop has everything you'd expect from a typical convenience store, with fresh products like milk, bread and pasties. They have a few freezers and sell alcohol, cigarettes and have a PayPoint machine.They sell newspapers and many other products too.

I have used this newsagents for many years . I have always found the staff very helpful and accommodating , Always ready to serve with a friendly smile and atmosphere to make you welcome and you can always get what you need but if you don't manage to for some reason then that's because they seem to be best seller's and these items go as quick as they are stocked back on the shelves. Also if you can't find what you need just remember to remind the staff to put it on their stock list ready for the next time they go to the warehouse to re-stock . Don't forget if you don't say anything then it's not going to be in your shopping bags next time you come to do the shopping.

The staff (owners) I have dealt with have no respect for some people. Deliberately go out of there way to be awkward and lie about things. Out of the shop they are infact arrogant, rude and don't want to follow other companies rules or requests. They have digs at people before seeing what in front of them or asking first. As for following covid restrictions they may as not bother if they are not doing it correctly. Taking all this in to account my friends & family take there custom else were.

Actually FOLLOWED me around the shop, I am a middle aged woman for crying out loud, I am not a local, and to be fair that's a good thing, the place is a dump. I bought a bottle of water and got out sharp. Speaking in their own language, I find that highly disrespectful as well. Rude and dirty is what they looked like to me. Thank God I had hand sanitiser in the car. Absolute scruffs.
