Local Parking Security Ltd

Was not happy when driving up the M4 heading to Wokingham. I was rudely interrupted by a driver in a Local Parking Security Van. He drove past me giving me a vile hand gesture. I was driving at the speed intended as he rushed past me. I would not rate them if that’s how he treats people.

Called regarding a ticket I received while working at a customers premises. The gentleman (replace with another word) I spoke to was aggressive and condescending when I claimed I contested my liability given WE were called to site by THEIR client. I am investigating relevant legal action against this shower. Be warned.

I was to hospital at emergency department feeling about to die and believe me on this kind of situation not things about parking ticket. Not I've know u need a parking ticket if u like to die and those people fine me. Now come out of hospital with medicine prescription witch cost 100£ and have to think about what should I do with my last 100£ as I'm on benefit. Should I pay the fine or prescription. I'm speechless

A penalty fine was given 15 minutes after my paid 2-hour car parking time elapsed, and I was unable to get back on time to extend it. I sent an appeal detailing my circumstances, but it appears they did not even bothered to read. Instead, I received a generic reply warning me that the fine will increase to £100.

Witnessed one of the parking wardens rocking someone's van in Paignton behind The Inn on the Green trying to move the ticket out of display on the dashboard.

Fined even with proof of ticket payment, appeal unsuccessful due to personal greed.

I would give a minus star if possible, never received any correspondence for a potential fine, then straight to debt recovery is the first letter we received. This is an awful company, that the debt recovery does not answer the phone, so you are left in a distressed state. They should have their licence removed.

unfortunately just a big money grabbing scam. I failed to pay for 17 minutes parking on a Sunday night as when I returned to my car I noticed that someone had smacked into my rear bumper. As it was late I could not phone the security to access CCTV. So I returned the next day and I realised that The car park charges 24/7. Thus, I paid for a whole hour to cover the previous day. I called up requesting CCTV footage of the night but I was informed this is not possible as it does not record. However, 2 weeks later I received a PCN of £100!! I appealed this and mentioned all the details regarding my claim, clearing stating my intention with the purchased ticket. I received an email two weeks later and it was clear that my e-mail had not been read and it was a generic response. After many e-mails back and forth my attempts were completely unsuccessful. To make matters worse, their PCN letter has images of my car for the whole 17 minutes. So the least they could have done is provide me with the details of the driver who hit my car and drove off. Which is highly illegal. Not only am I £60 down from paying the bill. However, I also have my brand new car damaged. Shame.

If there was option, i would give -5 for this company. Fined for entering a private car park in an unavoidable situation accidentally and staying there for 13 minutes while I was trying to find and re set the right location on navigation. Not left the car, neither used parking space. Initial Fine was for 70 pounds. When I sent the mail to Local parking they advised to go for appeal with POPLA, which was absolute waste of time. Popla was only explaining to me about the legal sides and explaining again, it was me at car park ( which i already acknowledged ). POPLA was only there to take another 30 pounds to make my fine 100, even though i got atleast 5 emails from local parking saying that my charge will be on hold and no further charge will be taken while decision was made !!!!. ( Which cleverly quoted on the fine letter ). When I enquired this with LPS they kept saying what POPlAs condition on letter and saying LPS mail was automated so they can't do anything!!! Absolutely cheating!! I hope LPS can put the right message in automated mail.

After being given a claim form by Premier Inn Heathrow for one night parking (which they did not inform me was included in the package). I paid for parking on arrival into the hotel as instructed by the signage and big payment area in the entrance of the hotel. I was then informed on check-in that I did not need to pay as it was included in the package. I wss then given a claim form and I completed it straight away. I emailed it and received a courtesy message reply stating that LPS would reply in 14 days. I then received a reply 14 days later asking me to call them. I called only to be told they do not settle refunds over the phone. I was asked to send it in writing. I have already done that. Just give me my money back. I have followed all your requests! I will not be staying at Premier Inn Heathrow (Bath Road) ever again. They need to find an alternative parking arrangement!
