Royal Mile Mansions Apartments

It's in the heart of Edinburgh city. I stayed over there for 5 days and my experience was amazing. It's near to the Edinburgh castle as well as University of Edinburgh. Waverley Station is also very close the apartment. Lots of suvenior shops over there. There is also a Starbucks coffee and the they have the best Starbucks ambiance so far I visited Starbucks in different part of the world.

Great location. Older building and dated internally but clean with functional elevators. Kind dah time security and a 24 hour convenience store directly outside.

Stunning apartment. Very noisy though. Also fridge went on fire and when we called the emergency contact the did not answer. We eventually got hold of them and were told it would be checked after we left. Smoke alarm did not go off either. Told no fault was found but the would replace fridge as a precaution?????? Very poor contact.

Room number 24. It's really too bad. The room was very spacious and clean but that is all. The landlord was staying in New York and there was no one in charge. Instead we had to go outside in the cold to find the key, like a bad puzzle game. In addition, the heater in the room does not work even though the outside temperature is -6°C! We put on our bath towels, coats and hats and still couldn't sleep. The landlord are irresponsible. It was the single worst thing that happened on our trip to Edinburgh.

Apartment was clean with pleny of space and everything we needed. It was pretty quiet and stayed cool on even the hottest days. Wonderful location within 10 min walking to almost every major site such as the Palace and castle. Hosts were wonderful! Great place!

This flat is fantastic. Very roomy. Very comfortable. The location cannot be better, right in the heart of Old Town on the Royal Mile. Great views. Third floor but it has a lift. Secure building so no worries there. The management was accomidating and friendly. Be advised that it's in the town center, so yes there is traffic noise but what do you expect? One last thing, there were no basic spices, salt, pepper etc. Would highly recommend.

Royal Mile Mansions Apartment was a classy way to stay. The accomodations were just what we were looking for to celebrate a friend's birthday in the city. Kitchen was stocked with appliances, cookware, espresso machine, etc. All amenities were functioning, though the wi-fi wasn't as fast as I'm used to. Location was absolutely prime; the Royal Mile is the heart of Edinburgh's tourism circuit, always pumping with the energy of people travelling from all over the world supported by the liveliness of edinburgh's local nightlife scene. This room looked right over the Mile's busiest intersection, North Bridge. There wasn't anything in Edinburgh that was more than a 15-minute walk away. Holyrood House, Parliament, Edinburgh Castle, Mary King's Close, The theatre district, Princes Street Garden & the Walter Scott Monument...everything was close at hand. Any food you'd want could be found within a 5-minute walk, including the usual fish & chips, fine teas, whisky, and haggis, and the unexpected, Falafel, curry, and Henderson's vegetarian/vegan. I didn't use the room a whole lot, but I really wish I had. I'd have slept just as easy on the leather couch as I did in my bed, which was so comfortable I didn't want to check out in the morning. l slept peacefully through the morning bustle and quietly enjoyed a cup of coffee while watching the street. I would recommend the Royal Mile Apartments to anyone that can afford them.

Prime location with good apartments!

Great apartments although looks a bit bad from outside but inside great. Right at the end of the royal mile location could not be better.

Friendly and helpful staff at the desk. Public areas look a little tired, but great overall.
