David Lloyd York

I had a tour of the club from Nathan the other day and he was absolutely fantastic at showing me round everywhere and answering any questions I had about the place. The gym is a great size and the pool facilities are also excellent alongside the sauna and steam room. Nathan did a great job at showing me all the club has to offer, including the bar area and courts also. Would highly recommend, and if you’re interested in joining, ask Nathan to give you a tour.

Having been a member of several gyms in my lifetime I must say David Lloyd is by far the best. Most of the staff are great but one lady who stands out in particular is Jayne behind the bar in the club room, nothing is ever too much trouble for her, she’s always happy and enthusiastic and definitely cheers me up whenever I see her. She’s very hard working and never stops. A credit to the company.

After a long day on the shop floor at my demanding job I popped into the gym for a short but intense workout and a nice refreshing juice. I was a bit stressed and unhappy but the lovely server whose name I believe was Will managed to turn my mood around after he delivered a fantastic service. He was both polite and efficient and could not have been better! David Lloyd’s have a real go getter on their team and he should be treated with the highest regard!

I have always been impressed with this health club. Whilst I don't have any experience of using a PT, the gym offering, pool and facilities have been great. Also being partial to a bit of tennis the courts are decent, and serve players well! There is a bar for recreational time after a good session which is a nice touch too. Overall, I think a big part of the continued high-standards of this club are down to the solid management team who have dealt with any questions and matters quickly and efficiently. Would recommend this gym/health and fitness club!

Great atmosphere and service in the Clubroom - especially from Claire who is always smiling and happy to help. Also when I take my little girl at the weekend she is really good with her and makes her feel special. Also love the outdoor pool, in all weathers it is a real haven.

Always have a great experience at David Lloyd. Classes are varied and the post work out of a drink and chance to catch up with friends in the cafe/bar area are an added pleasure. Staff are super friendly, especially Claire in the cafe who always makes the day a bit brighter.

What a fabulous club with everything to a very high standard. The menu is extensive as I have some special dietary requirements the server Amélie was more than happy to assist me with choosing the right meal in the Club Lounge. Keep up the great service

Enjoyable time at the David Lloyd gym. Great facilities, burger amazing. The poolside and changing rooms are very clean and tidy. Credit to all the staff. Nick a lifeguard on duty was polite and helpful.
