Having a Cafe for many years including frying Chips. I was in area so I thought I would purchase a bag of chips at midday. Friendly service. Clean environment. Sadly the Chips did not meet those highs. As many Chip Shops now sell bland plain whitish in colour Chips of a dry texture. These were the same. What happened to golden brown similar to our favorite Roast Potatoes. We sold brown in colour Chips. We're very popular.

Sausage was nice, chips awful!... The attitude on the 2 old men serving was disgusting, very rude. It wasn't just a off day ether as I returned the next day and was giving the same attitude again. Can't treat customers with respect and act like you enjoy your job, sell your business!!

Pucker chips, best in the county. Lad at the counter went the little bit extra with the detail of what we wanted. Brilliant, would reccomend

The popularity of this place is baffling. I can only conclude that it is because:-It's the only chippy nearby,People have a low acceptance level,People are desperate and hungry.We called in for two bags of chips and sausage in batter. The portion size was meagre, and were the worse I have ever encountered They were anaemic, hard and beared little resemblance to any potato they may have come from. THE FIRST ZERO OUT OF TEN I HAVE EVER SCORED.The sausage was a challenge to bite through.I do not see how anyone could either produce such sub standard chips or have the audacity to sell them. But they clearly get away with it. I would rather go hungry than visit this place again.If it wasn't for the fact we took them back to the caravan, I would have returned them and asked for my money back!

A very popular and busy fish bar. Fish n chips is no longer a cheap meal but our cod and scampi were delicious.

Great service.Highly recommend.The food was good and fresh, but it felt like there could have been a bit more of it.There is a sit-down area to eat in looks lovely (didn't eat in).

It's a small chippy in a little village. Don't expect anything fancy but we've eaten from there twice and it we enjoyed it. They cook to order, so you may have to wait when it's busy, but both times we had a large order for 10 people and they got it right. The fish was good. We'd definitely take away from there again.
