First ever visit having heard about it being raved about for years. We weren’t disappointed, big portion sizes, nice, tasty and fresh and also very reasonable from a price point of view. Recommended.

Great place to eat food was great. Staff were lovely and a nice atmosphere only gave 4 stars bcoz I really wanted a medium rare steak and they only done a braised steak that was great anyway.

A very busy place on a Friday evening, clearly very popular. The service was quick and friendly. The food was really very good and generous portions. Tex Mex chicken was excellent, plenty of crunchy coated chicken liberally covered with pulled pork and cheese, with decent chips. Lamb shank on colcannon mash was delicious and served with a variety of perfectly cooked vegetables.Food and drinks all reasonably priced. Not the place for a romantic meal, as busy and quite noisy, but if you want good food at a good price, this is the place.

The food here is absolutely amazing… the portion sizes are huge… the staff are lovely and friendly and the service is excellent … we will definitely go back… amazing food.. service and value for money…

Been waiting ages now to get the regular menu as it was limited during covid. Had the lamb shank which was fantastic as always, the market vegetables were broccoli, cauliflower cheese, carrot and turnip. Very filling, cooked to perfection and great tasting.My friend had the pate starter and sweet and sour chicken main; which was crispy chicken with a great tangy sweet and sour sauce. Wish they would do a fried rice with the sweet and sour instead of pilau. And my friend got the lemon cheesecake however was disappointed as it had no taste of lemon. However we are here often and food is good with a great selection to chose from and large portions. Pricing is reasonable too.Good place to come for a couple or even a large group.

Out for a meal with my mrs,the food was phenomenal,i had the highlander ateak with drambuie sauce,well worth the money,we will definitely be back

Was there end of October 2023 for a wedding reception,absolutely brilliant place food was amazing especially the steak pie. Staff where really friendly & helpful as we not from that part of the country. Definitely be back nx time we’re back up in Scotland.

Attended with friends, there was a choice of fish and chips or steak pie. The fish and chips looked really tasty. I had the steak pie which came with roast and mashed potatoes, carrot, sweet potato and green beans. Absolutely loved it.
