Took jeans in to be taken up. My wife normally takes the families trousers up but couldn't on this occasion. Really pleased with results.

I had a bridesmaids dress to be altered as it wouldn’t fasten (it was too small). I didn’t mind the job couldn’t be completed (until later when I went to the sewing queen who did actually manage to fasten the dress without alterations by asking me to position my bust in the dress differently). However whilst at Jeanette’s she commented on my weight telling me ‘you’re not a size 14 you have such a broad back you are at least a 20’ and told me there was no way it would fasten even with alterations - these comments were unnecessary and also incorrect yet I left feeling awful about my body. The opposite of how I left the sewing queen feeling, and if I hadn’t gone there afterwards I’d have had to buy another dress (as would the other bridesmaids)

Took 8 bridesmaid dresses in to have the length altered. Jeanette made a complete mess of them all and refused to correct them a week before the wedding. Resulted in us having to go to another alterations company and pay again to have them fixed. Jeanette would not offer any refund of assistance to resolve the issue and was very rude and unprofessional! Stay well clear and use someone more professional and polite...

I this was ridiculous person to us very rude insulting

Went to shop 3 times always closed on advertised opening times. Sign in window said closed due to accident open 3 Nov. Turned up on date, still closed. Will take my business elsewhere, somewhere that will open.

Took a few dresses and a pair of trousers for altering after losing weight. What a great job Jeanette performed. I could not tell where they had been altered at all. And very quick to complete the job too

I wish I had read these reviews before I trusted her with a new pair of levisShe made a complete mess of the alterations ,I only wanted them taken up it should not be too difficult for someone with 35 years experience but but it was for her .

Great repair of my leather jacket when I tore it under the arm. Can't tell at all there was ever a rip

Very rude, poor service and attitude towards customers is awful dont recommend she had to alter my skirt 2x and when we said it wasnt right she was in a mood and rude when we went to collect it go somewhere else
