Cadelac Dog Training

We've been going to training classes at Cadelac since summer last year (with a short break due to lockdown) and I can't recommend Denise enough! Not only are the classes absolutely brilliant, but Denise also helped massively with Noodle's separation anxiety.It had come to the stage where I couldn't even leave the room without Noodle becoming really distressed and none of usual advice you'd find online was working at all, but a week after following the plan set out by Denise (which was based on skills Noodle had already learnt from training classes and took into account her sensitive personality) she was already happy to lay in her bed for 20 minutes with me completely out of sight. Now, everything is just so much better and I feel like I have a life again!The best thing about Denise is that she understands that your dog is an individual and will tailor the solution to fit YOUR problem, based on years of experience and a deep understanding of dog behaviour. Once again, I really can't recommend Cadelac enough.

We have been attending the training school with our puppy since spring 2023. Without it we wouldn't have the well rounded dog we have, great lessons that keep our dog training on track. Highly recommend.

Contacted Denise at Cadelac over aggression between our 2 dogs had a 1 to 1 with Denise in our own home. Turns out our younger dog was bullying the older one. Denise spent time with us explaining what was happening with both dogs and showed us methods to put in place to help resolve the situation Met with Denise on the Thursday was seeing improvements by the Sunday still early days but we all feel better able to cope and more relaxed with the methods in place Denise also gave us methods to cope with out older dog barking alot tried these out when Denise was here and carried them on it has worked wonders with the problem I would definitely recommend Cadelac if you are having behaviour issues with you dogs

Me & my dog Bella have been attending classes here for 4 years - we have both learned a lot while also having a lot of fun - a good balance of formal obedience training along with fun teaching so that everyone & every dog has a good time - humour abounds & laughs are there to be had very week - we've met some very nice people & some very nice dogs - Bella loves going.Good, friendly, knowledgeable instructors along with good facilities.IMO very good at teaching problem dogs not to be a problem - I've seen aggressive reactive dogs behavior transformed in just a few weeks.Also very good at teaching owners to understand dogs!

We started our puppy here at 11.5 weeks old and are still going now he's nearly 7 months! We've had a number of trainers in that time and found they all bring their own personalities but remain consistant with what they are teaching. After the first block of 6 which is structured and includes take-away handouts of what you've learnt, they listen to what you would like to work on and tailor the class to suit the needs of all. We've learnt an awful lot and would wholeheartedly recommend them!

CaDeLac has been fantastic with my very dog-reactive rescue collie/jack Russell over the last 6 months. From the initial evaluation session through dog talks, training classes and help with walks, advice and support has been available at every stage. Denise, Caz and Sue are so helpful and friendly and the classes are fun and fulfilling for your dog. They really do know what makes dogs tick and have carefully evaluated all aspects of dog care and training.It is nice to support a small, local business that really cares for your animal and you. We have completed course one and are about to start course two. Training includes really helpful commands to ensure you and your pup can establish helpful routines together! We also had some separate behavioural questions, and Denise took the time to talk me through various options and possible solutions. This was outside the regular class times, and entirely discretionary on her part. We're already seeing huge improvements thanks to her input. I would 100% recommend this training centre, and am looking forward to course 2!

All of my three dogs have been through CeDeLac, (2 Border Collies and 1 Chihuahua Cross) two of my Collies are still attending High school classes once a week. (Jess 3 and Rosie 11 months.)We have been at CeDeLac for nearly two and a half years.Their staff are very inclusive, caring, helpful and have great knowledge between them. Any dog related issues like:- feeding, walking, behaviour issues, care and meany other problems. they are the go too guys.As a disabled, full time wheelchair user and dog owner i have had my fair share of discrimination when having such an active breed, even professionals like OTs ask me how do you managed to meet your dogs 5 basic needs".My answer is just like any other dog owner!!!!Going to CaDeLac has given me more confidence

Great dog training classes with very experienced, reassuring and friendly trainers. My puppy loves going to these classes and can't wait to get inside each week! These classes were recommended to me by a friend. The classes have been so helpful for my over enthusiastic pup - I don't know where we would be without them!
