Had a really fun evening doing Caroline's Let's Bake...Mince Pies class over Zoom. The kit arrived beautifully packaged and with all the bits need to make the mince pies ready weighed out - just needed to add the fresh stuff (eggs & butter). Instructions for soaking the fruit and what equipment you needed was all very clear. Caroline is a great teacher and the class was easy to follow and not rushed. Great to be able to talk and interact with some new people during lockdown!

I’ve always wanted to know how to make macarons but never dared as I’d heard horror stories. There’s definitely a precise method to it, but Caroline made it so simple, from the beautifully wrapped ingredients to the personal instruction, she kept an eye on all of us individually and made sure we were on the right track. They tasted delicious and the class itself was really easy to follow and friendly, I absolutely loved it, almost as much as I enjoyed sitting down to eat the finished macarons afterwards!

Caroline is a Fabulous host and we had thoroughly enjoyable home baking session over 3 hours to create some incredible hot cross buns. Very easy step by step guidance and with all the weighed out ingredients delivered to the door. A great way to share a baking session with friends and family. Thank you and I will certainly be looking at the other sessions you will be running. Xx

We were very fortunate to find Caroline and ask her to make our wedding cake. Not only did it look amazing but it also tasted absolutely delicious! Each layer had a different flavour and I could not pick a favourite. It went above and beyond what we expected, the delicately handcrafted sweetpeas were stunning. We had a friend create models of our much beloved dogs and Caroline very kindly incorparated these onto the cake for us. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. Thank you Caroline for such a beautiful and tasty cake!

I highly recommend Hunkington House Kitchen as a wedding cake supplier!I'm so happy with my wedding cake, Caroline did exactly what I wanted and it was even better than my dreams.The cake wasn't only gorgeous, but it was delicious too. She made as a layer of cornish vanilla ice cream victoria sponge and another layer with dulce de leche and vanilla (which was quite unusual, but she ordered the dulce de leche, especially for us).I feel lucky to find this amazing company to make our dreams come true! ❤️Thanks Caroline!

We have had the pleasure of Caroline’s creations for some time now, using her for cupcakes for Birthdays and occasions.The quality, taste and look of her cakes never disappoints. So we decided to use her for our wedding. Yet again, she amazed us!Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful.Perfectly moulded and extremely realistic sugar flowers, with 3 delicious flavours and as usual a beautiful appearance.Very happy couple and lots of compliments from guests.Yet again Thankyou Caroline!

Took part in a wonderful online gluten free bread baking class with Caroline, I used the option to have a kit sent out and it arrived beautifully packed so the whole thing felt like a treat with lots of anticipation, as I unpacked the ingredients and looked forward to the class.The class was in two parts, as we made the dough and left it to prove in the morning and then came back at teatime to finish it off.The bread came out great! Gluten free bread can be so disappointing but this tasted like actual bread. My oven is a bit weird with temperatures so I think I need to practice it a few more times to get it absolutely perfect (I have bought a thermometer now because it clearly wasn't heating right). But even on an imperfect first attempt it was definitely better than any other gluten free baguette I have eaten, and the texture was brilliant, with a light chewy crumb and a lovely crust, so I am super grateful for learning the recipe.Caroline was fun, bubbly, kind and so super knowledgeable, getting everyone to show their work up to the camera at each stage and was able to assess what needed doing to get it right every time. She can just look at stuff and know what it needs. One participant had an issue with the dough becoming too crumbly when she shaped it, probably due to adding too much flour on the surface, and Caroline spent extra time with her to get it to work so she could have a success, just starting her baking a few minutes later than us. Having her expertise really took the fear out of getting it wrong, because you could see that she would get you to the end result by using her experience and knowledge.I was a bit apprehensive about cooking on a zoom call, because I get a bit stressed having to meet new people, but honestly I loved it! It was a group of around 6 bakers and Caroline has clearly got the knack for getting everyone talking and by halfway through we all felt like a team and we were all rooting for each other's bakes to come out well. The added element of being able to share our issues with gluten on this particular class was very helpful, I think we all picked up tips from each other too!This sort of class is not the sort of thing I normally do, and I really wasn't sure if I would enjoy it, I really booked in to learn the recipe. But I was genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed the whole thing - the kit box, the anticipation of the event, the sessions themselves, the feeling of being kindly led by an expert, the camaraderie and the giggles, as well as the wonderful bread at the end.Thank you Caroline, and I would recommend these classes to anyone who is buying a treat for themselves or someone else. Fun memories, new skills and delicious results!

Almond croissant and Pain au Choc workshop - spent a fabulous couple of hours (on Fri and Sat) with Caroline and friends and family learning how to master these delicious delights. The workshops are delivered at a great pace, with time to achieve, to ask questions and to chat and at the end you get great results. As important as the end creations is the time spent being creative and sharing with friends. Highly recommended for fun, learning new skills and having some 'you time'. Jennie March 21.

I would high recommend Caroline’s cupcake decorating session. We thoroughly enjoyed the session with a few glasses of Prosecco for my friends hen party. It was a lot of fun and perfect for all ages. Thank you so much Caroline for a fantastic afternoon.
