After losing a buyer for our house as a result of an incendiary survey undertaken by a national company, we elected to get a private survey before putting our house back on the market to see just how bad things were.Martin was easy to contact, would communicate clearly after the initial phone consult & charged us a fair price. What we got was a beyond thorough inspection, photos that supported his findings, an informed & detailed review of work that required, as well as recommendations of how he would advise potential clients looking to buy our house.And some of the recommendations were fairly large scale & expensive, thus not delivering necessarily what I wanted to hear but rather what was important for us to know in progressing our house sale.And I believed every word.An honest, independent surveyor that is highly recommended & a professional I would not hesitate to use again.

We found Martin via google searches and having read the numerous positive reviews we instructed him to complete a level 3 survey on the property we were purchasing. Martin surveyed a Victorian property for me in Shrewsbury on short notice. He provided a detailed report and highlighted a potential issue with the drainage system and the property - further inspection by a separate drainage CCTV company highlighted there was indeed multiple issues with the drains. I was able to negotiate a decent discount on the agreed purchase price for the property as a result of the report prepared by Martin saving me nearly 10x the cost of the survey on the purchase. Martin was always responded to phone calls or called me back shortly after. Highly recommended.

He talked us through parts of our report, which really helped, and went back to the property we are looking to buy to inspect the garage - at no extra charge - because the key was missing for his first visit. His report was clear and easy to understand, and he has been very approachable and easy to deal with.
