The Kitchen Restoration Company

When I moved into this house there was a large kitchen extension, the door & drawer fronts were very dated and there were 37 of them! The consultant was very helpful and made several suggestions I hadn't thought of. The speed of the order & installation was brilliant, the fitter was meticulous & the finish was perfection. I am very impressed with the service I received (and the price) and have been telling all my friends about it. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

* Shocking customer service* Overpriced* Poor quality productsI could have written a very long review here, but after 3-4 months of battling to get the kitchen sorted out after a shocking fit to begin with, having a large number of issues with the quality of the initial fitting (with some being very serious) I simply cant be bothered spending any more time on this.Now i know someone from the company will possibly put a comment on below either blaming me or trying to water the issue down so ask yourself once questions before proceeding with these people, or indeed anytime you purchase anything from anyone...If you only get offered a 1 year guarantee, does that shout quality product to you??? that is what you get with the kitchen restoration company (also know as kitchen magic)i am happy for anyone to contact me and ill show you the facts so you can make an informed decision but this is a true recollection of my experiences. what a huge mistake i made contacting this company.-------------------------------------------------------------------Edited response by stephen after review from owner...The response from Susan Davies is absolute rubbish!Look at all the recent responses on both reviews of kitchen magic Birmingham and the kitchen respiration company. Too many recent people saying the same things.The pictures i have uploaded are a true representation of the work carried out by this company.If anyone would like to see further correspondence about my dealings with this company or any other images, including the bullying email from the CEO then please contact me.Pictures do not lie... and trust me... your products are no where near as superior as you think. What arrogance to slag off companies who have been trading for years and offer great quality products and put yourself up on a pedestal as if you are the only ones who can offer such products...I feel like I will have another battle on my hands soon when I try to make a legitimate claim on the guarantee which I have no doubt will either be ignored or dismissed by squirming out of it and trying to put the blame on me again.Finally, the worktop was not a true reflection of the sample card and it was disgusting. Looked nothing like it.

After getting astronomical estimates for a new kitchen, I contacted The Kitchen Restoration Company" to see if they could help. A rep was knocking on my door the next day. He was so helpful

We are delighted with our renovated kitchen and with the service we received from The Kitchen Restoration Company. We had had our kitchen for many years, and being a wood finish country kitchen" was showing lots of knocks and scratches

Checked the website...should have checked the bad reviews but by that time, I had ordered the brochure already. The most pushy sales person called refusing to take no for an answer repeatedly when I advised I was not yet ready for a sales person to come and measure up. Such pushy, nasty people do nothing but put me off a company who is desperate for your money and don't care a jot about the customer. STEER CLEAR!

We are delighted with our new kitchen and love the way it looks. Because our other kitchen was 20 years old and our house is nearly ninety years old there were a few problems, but Mark our fitter was wonderful. He worked extremely hard to make sure that problems were overcome and it looked perfect. David the designer did not pressurise us into purchasing items we did not need, and was on hand to listen and act upon our concerns, when during plastering one of our old kitchen carcases came apart (not the fault of the company) and we had to review the order. He even made sure that we had the door handles that we requested, which were not available in the brochure. We were treated courteously and with respect at all times and cannot thank the company enough for making the experience as painless as possible and supporting us throughout.

I wasn't really sure what to do with the kitchen when I moved into my new house! The kitchen is very small and the units, although in good condition, were a heavy, honey coloured pine with large, ornate metal handles. The whole thing looked cramped and out-dated. I started by thinking about a whole new kitchen but the thought of all the disruption was putting me off - not to mention the high price! Then I saw an advert in the paper for The Kitchen Restoration Company and requested a brochure - which arrived promptly within two days. Soon after that, I received a very polite telephone call to see whether I wanted further information. It certainly wasn't a hard sell - the lady was very nice and helpful and I decided that I would have a quote. I thought I might have to wait a long time but the initial visit was arranged very quickly and to suit my time.The gentleman who visited was incredibly helpful and again, very polite and pleasant. I didn't feel at all pressured and he really helped because I decided to have a new sink/drainer, a new extraction hood and some new units to make the kitchen space more usable. He led me through the whole process and gave me lots of options at a range of prices. He came prepared with all the types and colours of cupboard doors, handles and work surfaces - he even suggested which colours went together when I was unsure!I decided to go ahead with the quote because it was very reasonable and all inclusive meaning that I didn't have to worry about finding plumbers or electricians. The units were made very quickly and the fitter came about 2 weeks later.The fitting required 2 days and the fitter was very efficient, working quietly and cleanly. He was flexible too, working around the gas man when he came to fit the new oven.The end result is fantastic! It is sleek, bright and modern, making much better use of the space. Everyone has commented that it looks like a completely new kitchen. Only I know that it came in at a fraction of the cost! Best decision ever!

From the start to the finish this company was a nightmare, booked for a Monday to start only to be called on the day to say he couldn't make it, only to find out next day he was to drunk to come, when the guy started the job he stank was rude and had no idea what he was doing I helped him with most of it guy couldn't even open his van he was that intoxicated the bosses are no better when I complained they were not I terested all they wanted way payment, please please find an other company this company is truly awful

We decided to have our work tops and cupboards replaced as we found that the cost of a complete new kitchen would be somewhat very costly. A very polite non pushy sales rep came to our home and was able to measure us up quickly and showed us the vast ranges of replacement products to us.We were then given a very good price and a date was set to have the work done. Within a couple of weeks we had a fitter knocking on our door at the time agreed and within minutes he set to work.We were surprised just how quickly the kitchen began to get into shape and within a few hours the kitchen was done and we were very happy with the finished item. The fitter even cleaned up very well after he had finished.

Very efficient service from ringing up to request a brochure. Everything was done for me a visit from the salesman at a time that was convenient to us,every thing was explained to us what would happen if we were to have our kitchen upgraded. A full breakdown was then given to us which included new doors, drawer fronts, handles and work tops.Which we were very happy with never once did we feel pressured into anything.After which the full cost of the restoration was given to us including everything we wanted no hidden extras.We arranged a time for the designer to come and measure everything up again at a time that suited us. He then gave us a date which was suitable for us.The fitter arrived on time on the day we had chosen, he was very efficient and did the job perfectly for us and very quickly finishing the job on the same day and was very polite and tidy in his work, making sure we were happy with his workmanship before he left I would certainly recommend this companySteve Lindop
