My daughter managed to get an emergency appointment within minutes of calling at 9am as she'd been in agony, she is TERRIFIED of the dentist but they all (I'm ashamed to admit I didn't get their names) did everything in their power to make her as comfortable and informed as possible, every part of the procedure was my daughter's choice after being fully informed of her options. They had to remove a tooth and a lot of it was, but my daughter got so freaked by the sounds she couldn't carry on leaving some tooth behind, instead of getting upset the dentist referred her immediately to SUB dental referral where she'll be out under general anesthestic therefore a 'better experience ' for her. The dentist went out of her way to call at 5pm same day to check on how her patient was doing and informed me of the next steps and answered all my somewhat silly/panicky mum questions, I can't thank the entire team enough for everything!! Thanks to their kindest and patience she's not afraid of future appointments, she's told me this herself, so I hope you all see this. Thank you so much for your professionalism and kindness.

Received checkups and treatment from here and the staff are all polite and very welcoming.

When the NHS works it works. Rang today for an emergency appointment, was seen straight away, popped to the pharmacy and came home. 45 minutes after I picked up the phone to ring them, I was back home and taking my antibiotics.

I would like to then Glen and staff for their help. I suffer badly from locked jaw and it’s made it really hard to trust a dentist if they can’t put my jaw back in place. Glen explained all the way through my emergency visit assured me everything will be ok. Didn’t feel any injection or the extraction of my tooth. Again explained recovery Dos and Don’t. I personally would highly recommend them thank you once again for your sincere kindness and help I really appreciate everything you done for me.

This morning I had a tooth extracted at the surgery. The dentist, I am ashamed to say I didn’t catch his name, is my new hero! He put his cowardly patient at his ease. He was relaxed and friendly but also thorough and professional. I will be happy to return for future treatment.My wife and I had previously been with the Clydach practice for over forty years but were removed from the patient list for (we were later informed when trying to book an appointment)missing a routine check up. Consequently we had no dentist for the period of the pandemic. I now feel very fortunate to have secured treatment in Pontardawe.

My sister received the most horrendous treatment at this practice. It's questionable as to if the dentist who saw her is even qualified, and the dentist will now be reported to the General Dental Council. The dentist literally butchered my sister's mouth, and the work she did was appalling, and not even completed. My sister was left in absolute agony, and in such a bad way, and traumatised that she had to be taken into hospital.

Managed to get an emergency appointment. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The dentist explained everything as she went along as I'm not a good patient. It went smoothly and I'm now pain free!!

I am writing to praise how friendly and efficient your staff are specifically Karen and Glenn, who have been helpful and kind with my daughter Megan who suffered with an infected tooth. Glenn actually gave us a follow up call which we both thought was amazing. Thank you so very much. Nicole Grey

Extremely helpful dealing with my elderly mother who has mobility and sight issues as well as dementia. Took a lot of trouble to ensure that her dentures were comfortable, fitted properly and that she was happy with them.
