We arrived at the restaurant without booking, the restaurant was extremely busy but the staff were very helpful and they managed to find a table for us. We ordered two starters- Kibbe and Pistachio Lamb Kofta- two mains- Rosemary and Pistachio Seasoned Lamb and a Trio of Meat Platter- and one dessert- Pistachio and Rose Petals Cheesecake. We enjoyed starters and mains but the dessert was a let down, it was basically a New York cheesecake. Friendly and helpful service.

Amazing place! Even though there were a lot of people, the staff and chefs served the guests in good time and with full professionalism. amazing food, high quality, very nicely presented. Vegetarian and fish dishes are really worth recommending. The place is very clean and well-kept. The location is perfect for a walk around the city center. The best place I've been to recently! I recommend!

The food was great and I would totally recommend the spice crusted duck breast and the sweet potato falafel. It did take a bit for servers to get to us but that was most likely due to the many customers. The music was a bit too loud but otherwise everything was very pleasant

Cool place with lovely atmosphere and great middle eastern food. Service staff must have been in training when I was there; dishes were brought to the wrong tables, response was close to slow, got a fork with the dessert. But the tastes made it easily forgivable.

Really lovely experience. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Bit pricey but for the portion sizes, it is worth it. We had the lamb shank and doner.

We thought we should try something new this time, so we booked a table at Baroushka. We called ahead, some days prior, to reserve a table. We were told there was a two for one voucher promo going on for £20. We paid for this online.When we arrived, the place was relatively free and we got the opportunity to move to another table as we didn't like the one reserved for us. It was a bit close to the bar area.Order time came and we presented our voucher for scanning and got handed the Autumn menu to make a selection. For appetisers, we ordered the Pomegranate Molasses with Pita and Lamb Flatbread. These were quite tasty and well done. The Pitta was an interesting choice. There was a consistency to the chew and it tasted somewhere between hardboiled egg and cheese. It was delicious!. The lamb flatbread tested like an oven baked pizza but with less dough. The main course was a plate of Meat and Sausage Skewers, Paring Salad, Egyptian Coleslaw and a side of Rice and also Mince Chicken & Lamb, tobouleh and rice.We thought these weren't going to be enough to go round for three and so we ordered the Mix Grill (costs £38.2). This took about fifteen minutes to be ready and when it was delivered to our table, we realised it was a little bit more than we had hoped. We instead opted for it to be packed as a takeaway, which the team obliged.The staff were polite and helpful, willing to go an extra length to delight patrons. The interior itself was relatively clean. I do think however that the ambience was a bit dark.Overall, we had a good time at Baroushka and would be back to try something else on the menu. There is an optional service charge on the bill, to be paid at the discretion of diners. I think this should be discussed before being put on the bill for payment.P.S there's no free parking but there are loads of paid parking in the city centre and around the Maltings.

The service here was particularly good, the staff were really attentive and on it. The food was super tasty and we both loved our drinks too. I had the vegan tagine and it was full of flavour and different foods to try. My husband had the melting beef and said although the beef was good, it wasn't worth the price (but also said it was the best rice he had ever had). The overall atmosphere and decor was great.

The food was amazing. They offer dine in and take away. The staff were very helpful and lovely. It's better to go in the evening as there is free parking at the maltings which is just a few minutes walk. The place seemed a bit dark for me. Will definitely visit again as the food was one of the best nearby.
