Taverna Droitwich

Really good price for the quality and quantity, and the food was great. Ordered online and then collected, easy to understand and simple to do. Staff were friendly too. Highly recommend.

Order takeaway, two chicken gyros both were lovely and full of flavour paying for good quality food. Next time we going to eat in.

Tried this tonight for the first time. They were very busy due to recently opening, so I understand that they were under a lot of pressure. The food was okay, but nothing special. I had the meat skewers, the lamb and beef ones were nice but the chicken on was very dry. We tried a few things off the menu due to it being new and it wasn’t overly flavourful and seems to be very expensive. We had 3 meals with a few sides and it came to almost £55, which in my opinion is very costly for a takeaway for 3 people in comparison to a Chinese or Indian for example.

The Greek sausage wrap went down like a treat. Seasoning on the chips was nice flavour of the chips sausage really good. Would like to have some Greek music playing in the background

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Taverna Droitwich. I placed an order for food over an hour and a half ago, and it still has not arrived. To make matters worse, we have been trying to guide the delivery driver to our address for the past 10 minutes, despite the fact that our location is not a new build, and any standard GPS should be able to take you straight to the road.This is the second time in a row that our order from Taverna Droitwich has been severely delayed. It's particularly frustrating because we used to receive quick deliveries and enjoy delicious food from this restaurant in the past. However, it's clear that the standard has dropped significantly.When the food finally did arrive, it was cold, I had three different types of old chips in my meal (also like they ran out of food and are using scraps), and the meat was burnt and cold. It's hard to enjoy a meal when you've been waiting for so long, and then it arrives in a unedible condition. The whole experience has been a complete letdown, and I would not recommend Taverna Droitwich to anyone. Considering what they charge, they need to seriously improve their delivery service and ensure that their food reaches customers in a timely and freshcondition. This has been a truly disappointing and frustrating experience.After this disappointing experience we have decided that we will not be ordering from Taverna Droitwich again. We value timely service and quality food, and it's clear that Taverna Droitwich is no longer able to meet those expectations. We will be looking for other take-away options in the future.

Wow. Don't often leave reviews but we felt we owe it to this lovely takeaway to. Amazing food when we ate in 2 weeks ago (also loved how they spared no expenses when it came to how clean it was and the napkins / antibacterial wipes gel / toothpicks available). Food was amazing again today after a delivery over Foodhub. Delivered within a short time and well wrapped so remained hot. Thank you!

Our first time ordering from here, we just fancied something different to the normal takeaways and we can’t wait to go back!!! Food was absolutely delicious! Everything was beautifully wrapped and presented. We ordered two chicken wraps and they were both full of meat, salad, sauce etc, truly delicious! We also ordered the Greek salad which was really refreshing and yummy along with the grilled halloumi and Dolmades which were both really great! It’s maybe a little pricey but for the quality, freshness, ingredients and presentation, it’s not too bad as a nice treat! Definitely much nicer than a chip shop kebab!!!

Ignore the reviews criticising value for money, the same people probably think a tenner for fish and chips is value. Food was good here and portions absolutely fine and the price was fine too. The moussaka was buttery and light, the pork gyros was stuffed full of lovely well seasoned pork and the biftek was beautiful and moist. If your looking for a kebab shop there's plenty around, but those that require a light and different takeaway, now have a viable alternative.

Really nice food, very tasty, made freshly to order, big selection of items on the menu. Big choice of greek cakes… Definitely will be there again .

Moussaka and Greek salad. Delicious. My favourite dish, and lots of olives in the salad. I will be back. Now I want some ouzo
