Achaderry Estate

We love being in Roy Bridge on the Achaderry Estate surrounded by mountains, deer, beautiful walks and wild swimming spots; it never ceases to captivate us. Tim & Wendy always provide such a warm welcome whenever you bump into them too.

Great peaceful location, great views. I have stayed on the estate a number of times and look forward to returning

I’ve spend a week in a Buzzard’s Nest Cottage with 3 other friends. We were in Scotland for our white water kayaking and the accommodation was perfect for us. It was warm with a lovely living room and a huge bathroom. We will definitely come back

Second time staying at the Farmhouse for us as a group of kayakers paddling in the area. Awesome location and great facilities, has everything we need and well looked after by Tim. Hope to be back again next year

Staying in the cabin Robins Nest was a truly special experience. Firstly the views from the cabin are spectacular, the mountains were covered in snow when we arrived which made the view from the windows even more magical. It was very private apart from the visiting birds, deer and chicken which we absolutely loved! The cabin is cosy and beautiful and has everything you need. The owners are so warm and friendly too! The location is ideal, you have all the beautiful places to visit and walk plus pubs, shops and restaurants however you are far enough out to have that feeling of being away from it all - out in nature. Cannot recommend staying here enough. We will be back with all the family in tow! Thank you for a magical week.

Wonderful place to holiday. Views of the ever changing mountains of the Nevis range (not Ben Nevis itself). Easy access to Fort William and environs. In Fort William there are several supermarkets and the Ben Nevis distillery for essentials. Some walks on the estate.Tim the owner couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.We stayed in the farmhouse, though other houses and lodge's are available.The farmhouse is wheelchair accessible with level front access, downstairs bedroom (with ensuite wetroom - though it is not a roll-in shower, there is a lip to negotiate) and room to manoeuvre downstairs in the house for a powered chair (personally we only needed to move a couple of items around such as the log basket). Extra mobility equipment is available on-site, best to contact Tim and Wendy for details.

We had a lovely time in Rowantree lodge, really lovely lodge, lovely surroundings, and Tim and Wendy were really lovely people and there to help if we needed them
