Swans Chinese Takeaway

Rude, unaccommodating and unprofessional !! We as a family have ordering from swans for years and wanted to place a big order for a birthday celebration, the owner was impatient and refused to take the order over the telephone, when I politely asked if we could proceed over the phone he said I don’t want your order and slammed the phone down. Shame as we have been using this take away for a number of years and we as a family will not again. Big loss for the takeaway.

The take-away Chinese dishes are done well. Highly recommend for those stayed at Heathrow hotels trying out.

This has been a craze amongst our crew and of course I had to try it for myself. That crispy pork (Lechon Kawali) it’s to die, it is so tender and crispy at the same time. It also comes with Lechon sauce. Mr. Swan is very nice and funny guy. This full tray of crispy pork and one order of egg fried rice cost us only £15.50. The service is big and will be enough for two people. The location is pretty easy to locate as well.

Ordered on 1st June 2023. Food was terrible, burnt chow mien and no flavour whatsoever, horrendous! Additionally the owner / call handler (man with US accent) was astonishingly rude and condescending when I asked if they accept card payments or not. He sounds like a bully / someone who seems to hate his life and people generally (I do feel slight compassion for him though!). He hung up on me whilst I was speaking. One of the rudest and nasty person I have to encounter. First and final time ordering with them. Poor customer service and equally pathetic food giving Chinese cuisine a bad name. 0/5

I really wanted to like this place based on some of the other reviews. Chicken tasted strange so left it. Egg fried rice was nice though. Perhaps other menu items are better. Owner was polite but no warmth in the interaction. If I went back would def not have chicken and mushroom again. Reasonable prices and portion sizes.

I stayed @ hotel close to this chinese takeway.Really yummy but wish I could have tried other menu.Maybe next time ?

He is very rude on the phone & when i went in food wasnt ready after 40 mins so had to wait 20mins :(
