Very peaceful and quiet. Grass down the middle, earth paths down the side. It's about half a mile long.

Like many places in England you only have the bad bits fed to you by the press. Well this is just one lovely place out of many in the area of Middlesbrough. Recent work has resulted in reinstatement of the entrance gates at the Acklam Road end of the vista of trees. They are of lovely construction and compliment the view along the avenue. I understand that they re a copy of the originals and contain features related to the Hustler Family who owned the estate originally.

This is a beautiful place to walk or run. You could extend your walk by walking by Blue Bell Beck nearby as well.

Brilliant for dog walking but extremely waterlogged most of time and each year there are less and less trees, maintenance is virtually nonexistant

This is a lovely area , I use it quite a lot.A permanent path down the eastern side would stop the erosion as the walkway in some parts are 3 metres wide
