Horniman Nature Trail
I would recommend in the summer as it was quite nippy and not a lot of wildlife due to the cold

Would be good if it was actually open when it says it should be. Keeps being closed at 3pm.

Really nice hidden trail. 1 mile come and go. Please dont go there, leave it for me and my dog. He is an introverted and prefers not to see anyone around, just as his daddy.

Love this place, so much to do and see both inside and out so great for any weather! They had some introductory dance classes in the barn which were super fun and my 2 year old had a great time. The BRICK exhibition is brilliant, really fun and informative. If you get a chance, have a wander around the Lego inspired garden and try to learn as many of the flower varieties as you can.

Horniman Nature Trail
Very disappointing. Its a strip of land that seems to be a former railway embankment penned in by housing on one side and a public footpath on the other! at about 10-15 meters wide there isn't enough to really attract wildlife and fauna and separated from the gardens by the public footpath limits migration between the two. Maybe they should make the nature trail the public footpath and then integrate the land the current footpath occupies into the gardens.

Great and simple trail. Good for a random nature day without exiting London
