Staff knowledgeable, friendly, willing to help and offer great advice with regards to the upkeep of the stove.Our stove was fitted during the uncertain times of the Covid pandemic, social distancing guidelines were adhered to.Thank you Hamilton’s of Chester for your hard work.

Just had a beautiful stove installed by Hamiltons. I couldn't be happier with the service received. The units themselves are beautiful and of a high quality, thus making the package excellent value for money, but the biggest point worthy of recognition is the customer service. When the installation ran into a number of complications, due mostly to the age of the property, I was kept up to date with a number of photographs whilst Andy and his son worked tirelessly to find a solution to the issue. To say 'going above and beyond' is an understatement. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional finish and swift and thorough installation.

Just like to say a big THANK YOU to both Andy and Graham about the service we have had. We wanted to install a log burner Serrano 5 in the newly built fireplace and both Andy and Graham kept us updated on the progress regularly. Their advice about about Building Regulations needed for the new chimney meant that our builder could liaise with them to ensure that the fireplace is compliant with the current regulations. Their price is also extremely competitive and service is first class.

Just had a Beautiful large mi fires Tinderbox Log burner fitted by Andy and although we did the fire opening and proprietary work, Andy and his team did the important stuff. They supplied expert advice recommending a very contemporary modern gorgeous log burner with a very large viewing window and completed the installation and the chimney liner Then completed the Hetas sign off.First class service... Highly Recommended, very knowledgeable and a great unhurried and perfect job!Thank you so much...Having looked at so many log burners in so much detail, I’m really pleased we went with Andy’s recommendation...The next day we had it running all day even though it was baking hot outside as it was just simply Amazing....Very Highly Recommended.Well Done Guys and thank you again...

Returning back to the Hamiltons of Chester website to find their contact number to arrange for them to install a third stove for me, I was really surprised to read the last review. So much so I wanted to share my own great experience with Hamiltons.Andy installed a first stove at my previous home, Andy told me from the outset he completes and signs off the work himself, starts and finishes within the day (when you are having your chimney knocked out, after having a renovation, it's a real plus to have your front room back within the day!) and would offer a competitive price. Andy kept his word on each of these points and I was so over the moon with the experience, I not only recommended Hamiltons of Chester to all of my friends but also invited them back into my current home, to complete further works.We moved into our current home last year, Hamiltons installed a Broseley Serrano 5, this wasn't a straightforward job as the property is just over 100 years old and we had to revisit our original design for the positioning of the stove, due to building regulations. Hamiltons were really helpful with this, advising on the regulations and helping us with instructing builders. The end result was brilliant and I love my new stove, it looks fantastic and again, I had my living room back before 6pm and the whole experience represented real value for money.So, I'm just about to order my third stove with Hamiltons of Chester and would happily recommended them to you :)

Thanks Hamiltons!I'm sure you will remember us...after installing our liner, preparing the chimney only to open our stove from its packaging to find we had been sent a faulty one, you drove from Chester to Telford to get us a replacement. I'm sure anyone else would have packed up and gone home for the day and booked us in again when the supplier couldn't deliver another one straight away. After all, this really wasn't your fault or problem. We are really pleased with our new multi-fuel stove and it has proven its worth now its getting cold!Service that is truly second to none, thank you!Gilly and Sandra

Would just like to say Thank You to Hamiltons for my recently fitted wood burner. Andy and his assistant were both very professional and very informative and polite. It only took them a few hours to complete the job and it was done at a competitive price. We are very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Shame you can't give 0 ⭐️Would I recommend Hamiltons? No way, worst decision I made was having Andy install a multi fuel stove.All great until money handed over, then trying to get the install date was tricky, despite me checking the date I wanted was available. Supposed to arrive 9-9.30, no contact until noon then turned up at 2pm! Knocked it all out & then said he didn't actually have the stove!I was then ghosted for almost a month, not answering calls texts or emails. Install completed, eventually, then that evening he bombarded me with texts asking for the final payment, even asking me to pay via paypal, to a random womams account (I kid you not) using friends & family so he could avoid the 10% charges!I discovered a couple of weeks later that I should have had a number of certificates, which hadn't been issued, including a register plate, a commissioning sheet, a smoke test should have been done, a HETAS certificate & a Carbon monoxide detector should have been fitted too.I contacted HETAS, who confirmed this & they advised I give him chance to sort this out. Andy arrived a couple of days later after I said I'd been intouch with HETAS, to sort the certificates, excuses flowing as to why he hadn't done them, 'he knew he'd done everything right, he'd been doing it for years etc' so not to worry!He still didn't do a smoke test, said he didn't have time & he'd come back. The CO detector wasn't installed correctly, neither were there any instuctions. He never came back to do the smoke test & the certificates weren't uploaded online. The only way I got him back to finish the job properly was by opening a complaint witb HETAS.In short what a shambles, wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole, give them a wide birth if you want any work doing, & a word of warning if you've had work done make sure it complies with HETAS.He's now being investigated by HETAS, there seems to be quite a few disgruntled customers. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I would like to say it was a lovely job that we had done in our new home. The room had no real feel to it before we had the fireplace and stove fitted. We cant wait to get the stove on in the evening its great and the glass is stay clear. The price was far better than other quotes we had.Thanks for a great job well done.
