Canoed the whole trail and it was the best experience of my life. I would recommend it to everyone. Simply breath taking

We travelled west to east in kayaks and had quite a relaxed journey enjoying the scenery along the way. We started mid day Monday, stopped for a pint or two on the floating pub Monday night, back in the water on Tuesday 1pm after a bit of a late start, camped at the start of Loch Ness Tuesday night, and then made it all the way to the end on Wednesday. We did cross over Loch Ness and the waves were huge in the middle, I’d recommend the longer route around the south east bend rather than cutting across if you’re in any way unsure about waves. We had clear skies and barely no wind but the waves were breaking and large enough to hide my companion when he was between peaks.Overall, an amazing route that leaves lasting memories and a great sense of achievement.
