St Benedict's Church
A beautiful old church well renovated inside. A good venue for a musical event. Some of the services held here are not very inclusive.

My church. Friendly, hospitable, open every day, except Sunday, for people who want a quiet place to just sit, for prayer or to have a look at the lovely stained glass windows and corbels. Information available in the church.

St Benedict's Church
A beautiful and inclusive church that feels welcoming, warm and a merit to the faith. Situated just off the main road, it has a little green around it and some very odd/funny faces in the stone work. Worth a little detour to experience

A lovely space of gathering for the community, churchgoers or just locals sharing the space with others

St Benedict's Church
Stunning structure from the outside, couldn't get inside as it was closed. But it's a magnificent looking church. They do open the church for visiting on Saturdays and Mondays from 10am to noon (Saturday) & 2pm (Monday). It was originally dedicated to Saint Benignus. It's dated back to the fourteenth century and has six bells and five are from the thirteenth century according to the church's website. Worth visiting.

Went into their pop up cafe for the carnival yesterday. They were very warm and welcoming people my son said I must come on an give them 5 stars as they were so nice- beautiful homemade cakes. I can imagine anyone would be warmly welcomed at this church.

Amazing church, always a warm welcome, wonderful place to hold a party or a reception. Has its own kitchen facility, and lots of equipment to use. A really lovely place which has everything going for it.

We visited St Benedict's for an Evening of music with the Incredible String bands Robin Williamson and Bina. We had a wonderful evening. The acoustics were excellent and the church itself is stunning and dates back further than the Norman period.
