Ramgarhia Sikh Gurdwara Slough

Gurdwara was lovely inside and the paath went smoothly and was peaceful - absolutely no complaints on that side. The management messed up our booking. They gave our area to another party due to being bigger in size without informing us. These managers do not know how to co-ordinate multiple events on the same day and they did not inform us of anything. We didn't even know where our rotis were stored before langar. The management have no response when you ask them. I will not be booking a paath here again. They do not respect their sangat. My mother and father in law showed so much respect despite all of this I feel the management took advantage of their kind nature. We love doing sewa so next time will make everything ourselves.

located near the salt hill park with positive vibes from kirtan and langar for the needy.

This Gurdawara is not following Sikhism as everybody is equal according to sikh religion. This temple refused to do lava for a sikh girl last mintute who was marrying Hindu boy . The ceremony was booked months ago and the boy agreed to follow sikh religion.This temple was ok to do lava for another couple in the same situation a couple of weeks ago.Our holly guru granth sahib has same script but people ( committee) is changing it to suits them.We as a girls' s family was ashamed infront of Hindu community as they decided to go for a sikh wedding instead of a Hindu wedding ad they felt it is same.In my views we have pushed so many people away from sikhy on that day also put our children off sikh ceremony ( lava) .I witnessed so many people sitting there in tears as our sikh girl( bride) was sitting in the temple in tear but was not allowed to have the sikh ceremony.We were told by the temple to have Sukhmani sahib path instead of lava.The granthy did not have decency to honor the couple with saropa somebody had to persuade him to do this.Our guru gave his life for Hindu and our gurdawara committee members refusing to perform the sikh ceremony.Other parts of the world perform the sikh ceremony in the gurdawas when a sikh person wants to marry a non sikh.It is totally unfair and man made rules, is there anybody in the Ram Gharia sikh temple Slough is able to explain to the sangat who is making this rules and where is it written in the guru grants sahib? Why did they book the wedding months ago and decided to cancel in the last mintues?I would like to see the reply on the gurdwara' s website ad other 500 gustes also felt the same and as a family we were very disappointed on our daughter' s special day.

Great place with melodious kirtan, soothing the soul and mind.

This is a Gurdwara , a place of worship for Sikhs. Non Sikhs are welcome and can learn about Sikhism.

First observation, I have not seen the word Khalistan in this gurdwara.(i am not against or supporter).Cleanliness is another point here in longer area. Noticed birthday parties and celebrations. But these do not stop to maintain a good ambiance I think. But i felt a little tired after spending time here. Food is health and clean.It is a religious place so, at that point it is very good and nice to spend time in the prayer hall. Noticed multiple prayer halls with custom requests for prayers. I felt this was good. I felt so relaxed when I attended prayer here.Thanks to my neighbour who introduced this place to me. I suggest you visit and learn about this religious place to my known people.

A Sikh temple, a boon for the neighborhood specifically for the Indian community. Well neat and clean place of remembering wahe guru, having prasad & langer. Known for its social & cultural activities.
