Beautiful!!!!! The meal was stunning, atmosphere is great, view is beautiful and the staff were really lovely. Staff are so on the ball and don’t miss a thing. We went to celebrate my birthday and our engagement & it was just the loveliest evening. Staff made sure we were looked after and happy! Looking forward to going again

Totally underwhelmed having heard such rave reviews. Upstairs lighting far too bright, bland decor, tables far too close together and the text on the menus was minuscule.Sharing starter was v. Good but the main course (plaice) was just swimming in oil - the duck was also incredibly rare… I should have asked. One main course plate had to be sent back as it was basically tepid.It was also painfully slow

What an oasis. Stopped in for Sunday lunch before a walk to the beach. I had the squash to start and the muscles with fries which were perfectly sized and Parmesan-ed. Staff were young, open and friendly. I ordered a pastry for dinner and they held it for me as I wanted to walk and return for it. Beautiful spot for families and solo dining.

Will definitely return.Cosy setting with 8 or 9 tables on both floors.Service was attentive but not intrusive.Food on the whole was very good, and as my wife has to eat gluten-free, it was amazing to hear almost the entire menu is gluten-free.My only criticism was that the rigatoni with my venison ragu was wildly overcooked. To the point it was falling apart. Which was a shame as the ragu was great, and I'd expect any decent restaurant to be able to cook pasta to al dente.It's not particularly cheap but worth it for treating yourself.

Wonderful meal. We had the bread and hashbrown bites to start, then I had the lamb and my friend had the fish. There was so much food I had to call defeat but luckily they had boxes to take the leftovers home. We shared the pudding which was gorgeous. Will be back.

Nice location, with good atmosphere, however, the dining experience was spoiled by the fact that I specifically phoned to let the staff know that one of our diners had a nut allergy. No one mentioned it and we think there may have been nuts in one dish but as they were busy we couldn’t get a hold of a waiter! The food & drink is overpriced and not good value for money. The food itself was acceptable but amazed that a restaurant of this calibre served skinny fries!!! not even hand cut chips, but that’s a minor detail. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu she had to go and ask. So I think a bit more staff training is needed. A bit disappointed overall.***We have since had an apology and the offer of a complimentary meal. We were impressed at the efficient response to this review. Thank you.

Had lunch on a wet Wednesday. Sadly we were the only people lunching, so the atmosphere was low.The service was excellent and the food more than acceptable, however a little pricey for what you get.
