I found them very difficult to negotiate with on a professional level. They come into your home without formally going through their pricing policy. A tap was loose in the kitchen and the toilet cistern was leaking. According to them the tap needed changing and the toilet was simply inserting a new flexipipe on the outside of the cistern. Job were done no problem. How ever I needed a break down my of costs ie invoice and a plumbers report which I never got. I rang several times asking for them but no reply. All I got from the beginning was a price of £500 with no invoice for three hours work. They were paid with the promise of emailing an invoice and plumbers report. Up to now no paper work. The conclusion being that my insurance will not pay out without a plumbers report. All of this unprofessional behaviour simply because they don’t wish to pay the inland revenue. After all an invoice is filled out and then accounted for by an accountant where in which tax is then paid. They are simply all about the money.

Needed a plumber to repair a water heater, 2 days later, 4 phone calls, I text and 1 email and still no response despite repeated promises they were on to it".Try anywhere before you try these people."

Great service from DS Serve. Always use them for our little plumbing issues and once for a drain blockage. Happy.

Total rip off. Said they do not charge for call outs. But they tried to charge me for a call out until I mentioned. Then they tried to charge me £150 for 20 minutes work. With no breakdown of exactly what needed doing and how much it was going to cost. £294 pounds I managed to talk down to £120. And guess what the problem still exists. Never again.

DO NOT USE!Absolute rip off. Aggressive and threatening. Quoted £340 then after paying for the part/labour upfront, upon completion of the work he then said the charges were £75 per half hour, reaching a total of £750. He was actually very scary to deal with and started threatening to remove the part if he didn't get paid. Made us feel very uncomfortable and ended up agreeing on a rate of £450. Horrible horrible. Then the next day, water wasn't working so have to get somebody out again. Don't trust this company at all. He is an absolute rip off, and pretty scary at that.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!Agressive, rip off, bad service...I recently needed a plumbing job doing as I needed my house spoil stack moving due to an extension and found DS Server Plumbing online. Mark and his college turned up to see what was needed, they were very polite and quoted me £550 to do the job based on two guys for one full day. I agreed to this and booked them in.On the day they were meant to start Mark rang me to say his van had broken down so we re-scheduled. The next day I was expecting them at 9am with and no one showed up, called many times with no response. The following day at 1pm Stuart turned, he was all talk saying that he was the boss and would work twice as fast as the other guys and would do a better job. After two hours of work he said he needed to go and pick up some parts, he asked for £150 for parts, four hours later he arrived back on site saying he couldn’t get any of the parts and would return the next day (there is a screwfix, wickes, Celco and B&Q all within 10 min of my location).The next day no one showed up and I couldn’t get hold of anyone. As this job was well over my schedule I cancelled the job with Stewart via text and didn’t hear anything back. The next day at 10pm Stewart showed up – as he was on site I let him continue the job based on the original quote. Stewart took multiple brakes when he would sit in his car smoking, sitting on my stairs upstairs chatting on the phone, then started drinking on the job (1/4 bottle of my whisky – and he was driving!) and did as okay job but left the site in a complete mess and only worked 70% of the time.All of the parts needed were from Screwfix which I have confirmed with them that all of these parts have been fully in stock for some time so clearly he had lied about not be able to get the parts previously. He then demanded £850 for the job plus keeping the £150 for parts making it a total of £1000. He was somewhat aggressive and a little scary looking so I paid him, telling that I was not happy about the amount. I asked him why it was more than the original quote and he said it’s because he is the boss and he decided how much to change!I text Stewart letter that evening saying I was not happy about the costs and then then received one quite rude message at 2:55am.Since he did the job I have had many other traders on site who have all said that the works should not have been more than £450 and should have taken no more than a half day to complete.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Great service, very helpful. Arrived very quickly. Polite engineers got the job done as soon as possible. Would definitely use there services again.

King of excuses!Placed a call at 5.30pm and 5 subsequent calls thereafter and each one the excuses was more amusing than the other. At last spoke to the Engineer before 11pm who was half an hour away! 1:30am got a call they had arrived and the delay was they had been stopped by the police!...on another I might believe it but after being 30m away five times I don't think so!Was promised they would attend next day 8:30am....9:30 called another company, half the price where there in 40m and problem solved!That's how you do business!

I have called and they confirmed they could come straight away. I texted the address, asking if they were definitely coming, they said yes (C u soon" to be specific). Failed to show up or inform me they weren't coming."

Complete rip off. Quoted £150 and charged £750! Threatening behaviour. Issue was bodged and never fixed. Had to call another plumber out to sort it. Waste of money but worse still nasty people, horrible experience. DO NOT USE THEM!
