The Cake Decorating Academy

Myself and my Mam did the celebration cake course today with Alison at the Lichfield venue. we loved every moment of it. Great tips and tricks and at a pace that feels right. Met the owner Di and she was also very warm and welcoming! We loved it that much were looking to come back to do the floral bouquet cupcake course! Plus we got two beautiful cakes!

I had a fantastic day with the Buttercream & Bows team, two lovely ladies who were extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and most of all fun!! I would definitely recommend this company for a fun day out with the girls or for a more business orientated approach, they can do it all!!Thankyou Jo & Diana!!

Being a student at Buttercream & Bows has been a excellent experience for me. So far have have attended 3 courses The “Ultimate Sugar Craft Rose”, which was a great experince, got to learn the all the hidden secrets of sugarpaste roses, “Cake boss”- great knowlegde, helped me open & widen my views within the cakes business, all my question I was unsure about were all answered at this course, and finally the “Bailey Bear” which was loads of fun as I got taught step by step, Jo & Diana are great teachers, very profeesional and friendly who always there to help. Thankyou Diana & Jo. Overall It has given me the confidence to believe & be proud in my work as well as myself.

Absolutely amazing! Recommend it for everyone who are interested in baking and decorating both as a business and as a hobby.Diana is very patient and friendly.

I've had 2 amazing cupcake days with Buttercream and Bows (Christmas cupcakes and Vintage cupcakes). Jo, Diana and all the gang are really friendly and professional, and have helped me to develop my passion for cake decorating. Thanks guys, can't wait to attend the next course :-)

I have been on three fabulous courses so far, and I have learnt many skills on each one. I had a great day out each time and my family/friends were very impressed with the results. I would definitely recommend going on a course,and I look forward to going on some more in the future.
