Great Glen Water Park
Love this place. Reception staff, cleaners and maintenance staff very helpful and friendly. Very relaxing holiday. Lodges comfortable some are needing little bit of work. But very comfortable. The Lodge restaurant which is run separately we didn't use this time, although it's pot luck if it's open. On face book it do open at 10 bit tends to open 11 or later in the day.

We came here during beast from the East. Cracking place although a little quiet although that was expected due to time off year and adverse weather conditions. Lodges needed updating a bit but hot tubs were fantastic. Easy base to explore Scotland from.

This place is no longer a holiday park with activities. People own the individual lodges and some rent them out. They vary greatly in how they've been maintained. We had a lovely example right on the water front.

I was tempted to give 3 stars but have decided on 4. The lodge is tired looking, sofas were ripped and the living area heater did not work- kids were freezing getting up. Little annoyances like paying for electricity but we knew that prior to going and last day was free. No licence for draught beer was another. But 4 stars because the friendly staff were very nice and accommodating. Beautiful scenery, nice walks along the Great Glen Way and relaxing atmosphere all helped make our stay a good one.

Lovely location. Think the new owner should invest some money into the lodges. Staff work hard to clean the lodges but they are rough around the edges. Pillows and bedding leave lots to be desired! Booked via AirBnb and was told it included electric...the reception charged me £30 for electric and a £50 damage fee....all refunded eventually!!!Great location and lots to do in the area

We were sent details of a key lock box that was attached to the cabin we had rented. After an exhausting, all day drive, through snow storms and rain, we arrived to find that there was no key lock box attached to the cabin, so there was no way of accessing the cabin. We had thought that it did not matter what time we arrived, due to the key lock box. We drove around the site and found a letter addressed to us taped to reception. This letter stated that the key was in the door. As we had already checked the front door, we knew that there was no key in the door.Unfortunately, there was no contact information on the letter, so we had to contact our booking agent Sykes Cottages. The man who we spoke to at Sykes Cottages was lovely and put us in contact with the manager of Great Glen Water Park. The manager rang us and opened the conversation with the incredibly patronising, What do you think you're doing

Apartment was modern and sleek. Really comfortable. Great base to explore the surrounding area. Shame the main bar/shop was closed in site.

The chalet we stayed in was fantastic. The area it's in is superb and very relaxing. The grounds are in need of repair and money spent on it. Overall the Loch stay was beautiful. I would have given it 5 stars. Shame about the resort being run down!! ☹

I will come back to this place for the sights. This park has all the signs of a cash cow. The cabins are nice enough and fit 6 fine although there is some dry rot in the wall. The facilities on site are not great though and it is a shame as with some investment you could see it being great. Like a restaurant overlooking the lake. Their games room was full of broken things and low light to see them. The bar didn't have any drinks, the laundry was broken and the pool once it was fixed was rather small but fine. The service depended on who was at the front but were generally helpful. The place just feels like they do just enough as they know people will come back for the sights.

Moored there for a short break because of the lovely scenery but had to move because the floating pontoon needed repairs. There needs to be signs put up to inform boaters not to moor up there otherwise it could cause a serious problem for somebody. The wooden chalets looked very nice although i didn't look inside as they all seemed occupied. The blue wooden huts by the loch for the activities looked as if they had been closed for some time and in need of repair etc.One of the people i meet told me the site was up for sale (probably because of the lack of business during Covid lockdown ?) so maybe that's why the place needs a lot of TLC.Looked like there is plenty of room for car parking and when the pontoons are repaired it will a lovely stop for boaters again.
