Stocksbridge Golf Club
The course was in fabulous condition - tees, fairways and greens.It is a short course but don't let that fool you. Many of the greens are relatively small and have steep drop-offs. Bring you A game around the greens. A good few long par 3s. Fabulous view from so many holes. Do be aware though this is very hilly. If your fitness level is lacking I would recommend hiring a buggy. Don't let that put you off. We had a fabulous day on a challenging golf course with fabulous views

Very hilly course, holes 1-9 are not but 10 - 15 feel squeezed in with quite a few fairways crossing and greens close to tees, probably best to play midweek when the course isn't as busy. Friendly staff and bar prices reasonable. Fees not the cheapest

Excellent club from start to finish and as a londoner it's a blessing to receive the friendly yorkshire hospitality from all the staff.Do not let the short yardage of the course stop you from coming as a steady 12 handicapper it was super challenging up and down the hills, especially with the wind at about 25mph.The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in immaculate condition , with the fairways the winner out of the 3. Great views from all over the course also.Thanks to all the team and I look forward to visiting again.

For over a month I was a regular visitor when staying at my friend's in Deepcar. I don't play golf, so I can only review the bar part of the club really.It is a very nice place with friendly people on both sides of the bar. On Fridays they serve the best fish and chips in the area!

As good as ever. A great job was done years ago in carving the course out of the hillside and it's been kept in excellent nick ever since. Friendly & efficient bar staff serve up good snap for an added bonus

Went here for a retirement do last night. It's a nice place, if a bit dated when it comes to decor. The staff are nice and the prices are reasonable but not cheap. The choice of beers on tap and bottled is a bit limited, but the Bradfield Brewery beers are as nice as ever. Worth considering for a 'do'...

It was shrouded in darkness, but I could hear the rope knocking on the flag pole while I walked the dog. Will visit again - 100% recommend.Been past in last few days and it's wonderful to see people playing golf again. What a lovely course, deserves players!!!

Great Golf ⛳ course and club house. Technically difficult which really makes it first rate. Good prices and offers on. Comprehensive pro shop with everything you need. Drinks and snacks available. Well worth a game and could become one of your favourites.
