I never got to experience getting proper support here due to some clashing with the staff and a diagnosis I have and therefore they would not take my case on following bringing that up in a calm manner. I needed them at my most vulnerable time and was told I wasn’t going to get to continue to access support after only a few appointments which was extremely painful for me and very disheartening. Not the best for the first time using this service and waiting 6 months for the referral. I didn’t even get a call or told in person I wasn’t going to get support here. It was done via email with no regard for my health. Completely ruined my impression of women’s services such as this and now find it difficult to trust them. The building and staff all seem nice and welcoming apart from what happened to me.I’m very sad that I was treated this way after thinking I was getting the one to one support I so desperately needed. That’s my experience but try for yourself as it may just have been discrimination due to my diagnosis and also needing flexibility due to chronic pain from disability I would struggle to manage my appointments and it seems this may also have been an issue to accommodate.
