Hickory's Smokehouse Huddersfield
The first time here, I have heard mixed opinions of this place. The menu is on a newspaper style.There is lots to pick and try. The prices are more top end, but the portion sizes are good, and everyone did not want deserts. Be aware that there is a 7.5 per cent tip added automatically at the end.

It was our first time visiting end of September as a family of 3 to celebrate my birthday and graduation. From start to finish the customer service was top notch from every single person we encountered. Nothing was too much and the staff we all chatty and gave us a tour around, sat us near the cinema so my daughter could find us easily and gave us great recommendations on the menu. The drinks were delicious and the food out of this world for a chain and was really fresh. The meat was good quality, tons of flavour and great size portions. The little touches like the popcorn for the cinema made it extra special and my 6 year old can't wait to go again. In fact we're all excited to come back. Even the decor just added to the experience! Great family restaurant!

New favourite eatery...Absolutely fantastic first experience here, place looked brilliant, live music playing and looked clean, loved the themed toilets. Service was exceptional, with kind and knowledgeable staff who explained what was available and gave recommendations to us. Food came at a good temperature and was absolutely phenomenal, I cannot pick fault at anything. Our whole group agreed on this and were all over the moon with their choices. Food was very well priced and Drinks were also. Really loved their speciality pale ale too. We will be returning on a regular basis if this is the service and quality of food that they always serve. Highly highly recommend anyone trying here. Very welcoming atmosphere. Well done to all the staff

Would 100% recommend!A last minute booking, but we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and they've made the place look great too, nice and spacious.All the staff were friendly, polite & interested, without being too much, which is such a special thing to find these days. The food for all 3 of us was amazing, some of the best food we've had. Loved the special touch of water and popcorn on arrival too aswell as the kitchen roll on the table. The atmosphere was brilliant, the place had a really nice feel to it, and the playpark outside and cinema room for the kids was such a nice extra touch. Will definitely be going back.

Heard good things about this place so thought I would check it out with dad must must advise it’s good for kids with there own cinema plus great selection for all the family . On first glance a very big car park plus a very pleasant warm welcome you can either book online or on the day but the place is huge upstairs plus downstairs dining with a bar seating area plus wide screen tvs absolutely great lay out but then the food menu was like designed in an old paper the tables were very well set out very clean also the waitress or servers were very good. When the food arrived well presented plus smelt really good i would Recommend giving this venue a try for two of us came to around £50 with drinks but the food was quality so no complaints from myself or my father but I am really looking forward to another visit has the pulled pork was to die for the portions were just right . Very impressed plus brilliant to have within 5 mile radius.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, the cocktails we had were marvellous and creative, highly recommended, specially Rhythm & Blues. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.Excellent service, specially thank you to Liz ( she is unbeatable) Jam and Michaela you make me feel comfortable, you are the best. Thank you so much!!!

Visited for the first time with the children due to the lovely school holidays..Hahaha.Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who took us to our table, explained how everything worked and there is even a cinema room for the little ones..AMAZING.We were given ample time to mull over the menu choices and opted for kids mac n cheese, popcorn chicken and two burgers. I had the double burger with fries and slaw. The kids meals came with fries.Once it arrived and after a few mouthfuls the children gave the food their seal of approval as did I.All in all cost us £55 for 5 of us with drinks and a tip charge which is impressive and the children are wanted to go back already.Thank you guys and keep up the good, we will be back.
