Took my partner and two boys (11&12) for a very late tea and had booked our table for 7.30 but was running late which even though they were busy was not a problem. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter . We were never rushed and when we did order our food he was very helpful with recommendations and what each dish consisted of. All our food was excellent. Unfortunately I cannot remember all of the dish as had names I cannot remember. The prices of the food are very reasonable but we weren't drinking alcohol so I cannot comment on those prices. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely be going back again.

We are new here in Hull and was craving for some Indian food until we found Pop dum. Service was top notch and food was delicious. Jey served us with some hot crispy vada which made me felt like home away from home. Thank you. Definitely coming again

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. The food was absolutely superb and the service matched it.The guy who served us (I think his name was Jay) was extremely helpful when picking which dishes we would like. The portion sizes were quite large so he advised us to go light on the side accompaniments (naans, poppadoms etc). Other places would likely push this kind of thing to make more money. The dishes he suggested for some of our party were perfect for their requirements. We were shocked how little all of our food and drink came to when we received the bill. It was incredible value for money. We will 100% visit again and highly recommend this place.

Went for a meal for the first time and was not disappointed, welcoming and friendly staff, great recomenditions on choice of food which was fresh, tasty, and plenty full. We went for our anniversary and we had a balloon given for it which we got to bring home(thank you that so thoughtful) and to say it was 110% value for money is no understatement. We highly recommend and shall be back, thank you.

Perhaps the most mediocre veg curry I've ever had the misfortune to taste. I was really looking forward to some Sri Lankan food, instead I got frozen packet veg and a firey basic sauce.Add to that, possibly the most expensive 1/2 draft lager in Hull (£3.75) and there was my night spoilt.Having said all that, the guy running things was really nice and he gave us a free dosa whist we waited which was actually very good! (shame about his rude staff when we tried to moan about the prices)
