Hot Windscreens Repair & Replacement Service

From reading another review by this business just now I wish I had read it earlier. What a previous post commented about this company has happened exactly to me. He left broken glass, broke my trims and didn’t fit window properly. My partner rang as I had t even seen it, but him and his brother noticed all these damages and let me know. When my partner rang he tried saying it wasn’t his fault and these things happen. He has promised to come out to fix but I doubt this will happen. Do not go to this company

even a star does not deserve this company, they are not serious, postpone the day for another for various reasons, sometimes they do not announce that they do not come, do not answer the phone, do not call back just after 3 hours to say sorry and to come anothe day. cheap and bad. anyway, and if it's expensive it can be bad.

Incompetent service with a very low standard of labour. This one man outfit managed to make a major mess replacing our windscreen, leaving dangerous particles of broken glass everywhere. He also failed to even remove the old seal properly, poorly fitted the new windscreen and so within weeks it started to quietly leak water increasingly into our car. Due to the hidden nature of the leak, it took quite a while before we even knew there was a problem. Yet this leaking built up over many months and has caused considerable damage. Come the winter the passenger foot well had formed over an inch of water past it’s carpets. It took a lot of time and investigation before the cause of the fault became clear -the incompetence of Hot Windscreens. Having approached this trader to make good on the poor work, he proved less than forthcoming in arranging a time to rectify the issue. Having lost complete faith in this individual, we are now considering more formal action for what has been a very costly set of mistakes on his part. Please spare yourselves our misery and great disappointment. Even one star is too high a grade for this service. Certainly his poor response and lowly defence offered to this review is equally not fit for purpose.
