Firstly, I will start by saying that the staff were very pleasant, and our initial consultation went very well so after getting a few quotes we decided to use the Rows Jewellers to get our wedding ring made. It was being made to fit perfectly around an engagement ring.We were informed that the store would contact us to let us know when to drop our ring off. However, after over 4 weeks no one had contacted us. When we rang to see when to do this there was a lot of confusion around finding our order. This was blamed on them having multiple shops. We were then told in a very jokingly manner that the shop doesn't run properly when I am not in" by the lady who served us and was on the phone. This gave us very little confidence in their care for our order

Lovely staff, great service. We had some enquiries regarding one of my wife's rings and needed several others sizing. Under an hour and we had three rings sized and cleaned for a very reasonable price.Would recommend 100%

My fiancé and I came to Row's Jewellers on Saturday looking for an engagement ring. Fay and the other staff in the shop made us feel very welcome and relaxed. They spent a long time answering all our questions and teaching us about diamonds. We came away extremely happy with this beautiful diamond ring and we were able to get an extremely good discount. We will definitely be buying our wedding rings here. Thank you Fay for making a special day all the more fun and enjoyable.

Not a good service. Bullied into agreeing to get ring resized and then they didn't even get the size right, asked to come back in an hour even though they said it would take twenty minutes, and they said being cash only (dodgy)... And then the ring didn't even fit! Poor service all round. Avoid

Visited this lovely shop today to choose a ring as a Christmas present off my partner. They have an extensive range but I found my perfect ring quite quickly…. The service was second to none, no hard sell and these guys were very knowledgeable. They resized my chosen ring in approx 2, at no extra charge, giving us time to grab some lunch. I absolutely love my new piece of jewellery and would totally recommend this store, fingers crossed it will be very soon.

Bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend from there and had very pleasant experience. Although I was unsure which ring to choose and didn't know much about diamonds, the staff were really helpful and gave me some good tips and little education about diamonds. Also they offer lifetime guarantee and an option to exchange your ring if needed. Very pleased.

Never trust this Jewellers, get your diamonds/stones checked from a Registered trusted jeweller!! Took 18ct yellow gold very heavy pendant with 9 point 6 diamonds, 2 x 18ct yellow gold diamond rings containing 1 solitaire diamond and 8 x point 5 diamonds and an 18 ct yellow gold eternity ring containing 7 x point 6 diamonds. All of these had very sentimental value as well as monetary value which is why I wanted something special made out of them that I could wear as they no longer fit. Cetin offered to make a beautiful 18ct diamond ring using all my 18ct yellow gold and all my diamonds 1 solitaire & 24 good size diamonds. Customer service was impeccable at the time offering dozens of rings to try for style against my late father's wedding ring. This could then be used as a design to make my new ring. They took my gold & diamonds and told me it would take 4 weeks ...just in time for Christmas & charged an additional fee of £500 to design the ring. They produced a hand written receipt saying design 18ct yellow gold ring using Customer gold & diamonds. 4 claws to hold solitaire with high setting. I received a call exactly 4 wks later to say my ring was ready. Excited to say the least but also very nervous on seeing the result after leaving such sentimental items!! On arrival we were produced with the 18ct white diamond sample ring that they were going to use to base my design. Instantly I said that is not my ring, I left you 18ct yellow gold and my diamonds were substantially bigger.....this is the sample ring!! Within minutes 3 additional members of staff appeared from nowhere and stood very close. At this point, Cetin became very intimidating saying he made this white gold ring out of my yellow gold & diamonds were mine & i was trying to get free diamonds off them. I indicated the information CETIN had hand written on the receipt (use customers 18ct YELLOW gold & diamonds) but he insisted the white gold ring was mine they had melted it down using a special procedure making it white? Feeling extremely bullied, intimidated & very scared i paid the £500 & left with the white gold ring. Luckily, I noticed they slipped my handwritten receipt in the bin so I asked for it back. As soon I I left the shop I rang my husband broken hearted & really shook up! He told me not to worry he would call them when I got home. We tried this but the Tel no. Was a no such no. Eventually getting hold of them they were even more aggressive to my husband. Wasting no time we contacted trading standards who were very helpful but unfortunately couldn't help as I had no photographic evidence of the jewellry I had left so it was their word against ours. They also confirmed the procedure to make yellow gold to white can only be done using extreme temperature with bulk quantity of gold. We did contact our bank who contacted them and at least got £500 design fee refunded but all my gold & diamonds were long gone!!! These guys are well know in Chester by other local jewellers for doing this and strongly advised I get the diamonds checked. DO NOT GIVE THESE FAKE JEWELLERS YOUR MONEY, ESPECIALLY YOUR SENTIMENTAL ITEMS!! THEY ARE RUTHLESS. We also found later on that these guys are not registered with FSA.
