Music with Lucy
Lucy has been my daughter's piano teacher for years so I've seen first hand how she works with a younger child up to a now 17 year old - which is brilliantly. In fact I always tell anyone who asks that I don't know how we could have found anyone better. Aside from her vast experience and professionalism she is just someone you want to be around and her enthusiasm rubs off making lessons fun and relaxed. My daughter would not be at the level she is now and with the continued enthusiasm to play and keep learning if not for her.

Music with Lucy
My daughter started learning with Lucy online during Covid and has moved to in person lessons at our house every fortnight. She has made great progress playing the piano and also learning how to practice music and perform. Lucy has been a great influence and role model for her. Lucy uses the lesson time very efficiently so they get a lot done but also have fun. Using the Tonara practice app and Google notes means that communication is seamless and efficient and my daughter always knows what she has to practice. I'd highly recommend Lucy to anyone who is keen and willing to practice and learn.

Great piano teacher with masses of energy (and patience). Lucy always encourages and never makes you feel that your progress is too slow. She has responded to the current isolation with video lessons that work surprisingly well. Highly recommended.

Lucy is an absolutely superb piano teacher. My two children love her lessons and are making excellent progress. She's also brilliant with technology. Lessons are currently online, but the quality and experience is still top notch! Thanks Lucy :)

Music with Lucy
Lucy has been wonderful at teaching me bearing in mind I am an adult beginner and that English is not my native language. She makes the lessons fun, motivating and always knows how to stretch me in a positive and supportive way. The extra material she provides online is very useful for in between lessons to keep you on track but also inspired. She has a wonderful approach to teaching and her enthusiasm is contagious! Can’t wait for our next lesson!

Music with Lucy
Lucy is a first rate piano teacher and our two daughters, aged 10 and 7 years, love their lessons. She and they have adapted to piano tuition in lockdown incredibly well with seamless transition to Zoom lessons, as always supported by the Tonara App, to encourage practising between the weekly lessons. Her communication with us and the girls is excellent and always constructive. An excellent teacher.

Lucy is brilliant. She adapted her lessons to my (Adult Beginner learner) schedule, skill level, needs and even wants, providing at the same time theory and structure. I particularly appreciated that she incorporated theory, tips and practice exercises, in forms adapted to my ways of learning, when they were necessary to reach my goals, rather than through following the usual beginners lessons. She is professional, reliable, organised, technology oriented and provides loads of ressources. But mainly, she is so genuinely happy to teach, it makes it a pleasure to learn.

Lucy is a wonderful teacher; she is fun and engaging while also encouraging and knowledgeable. My daughter loves her lessons and we have certainly noticed both the standard of her playing and her enjoyment of music have increased with Lucy’s support.
