Dragonflies

The staff here are first class, attentative, friendly and in control of the place at all times. Too many soft plays are overcrowded, rowdy and generally unhygienic. Dragonflies is a breath of fresh air, where you can actually enjoy some quality time with your kids.The play facilities are designed to accomodate from birth up to 8 years old but I'd say kids older than 6 or 7 might find this a little limited.The food and drinks on offer are excellent and really cheap for this kind of place. The kids can get a lunch box meal and drink for £3.50 which is always a winner with my two little ones. There's also healthy alternatives for adults and kids which means not every option on the menu has to come with chips etc.I generally don't like soft plays due to the lack of parenting and poor management however Dragonflies definitely gets my vote and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere new to try, especially if you've got younger kids.

Thankfully the baby room is only £2.95, we attended yesterday and 4 other people arrived with car seats and bags (we left ours in car) which took up half the room and you couldn't access half the things in the room as they just dumped them. We have been to other rooms where you also take shoes off, which should be enforced as someone had dirty shoes on so lying baby down was not an option. The toys in one of the ball pits needed a good wash, the Lamaze firefly was nearly brown. But for £2.95 it was worth the test.

We have been coming to dragon flies for years and everytime we feel so welcomed by the staff!The play area's are perfect and it's immaculately clean. The coffee is amazing ( and a huge mug!) and you get healthy options for food which is well priced and the kids just love the soft play!To note it's great to go as a parent or grandparent on your own or as a few friends, the staff are so accommodating and will make you welcome and help with any baby needs.I come with my two and my nephew's for safe play times! Will definitely be back!!

We go every week to this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful and always smiling. There’s plenty of room at the tables and the food and drinks we can’t fault in either taste or price. The soft play has a section for toddlers which has plenty of activity and then there are three tiers for the older kids but the first two the toddlers can use too and with the Kay out you can almost always see your kids wherever they are except for a couple of places. There is also a ball area and a trampoline as well as a few slides. What’s not to love about this place

We love going to Baby Sensory and massage classes. And we can't wait till our little one is older so we can play in the play centre! Cafe is great, staff are friendly.

Their Google page says they’re open until 5:30, but when I rang at 4:30, they said they were closed as of 3 due to school holidays. Not super convenient. We were on a long trip and were hoping to let our little one stretch her legs with a quick stop off the A1(M), so I’m glad we called first. Shame! The location could really benefit from some flexibility for traveling families.

I'm not one to post reviews, good or bad, however i felt it necessary to feedback after a few bad experiences here.My daughter loves dragonflies, the facilities are great, soft play is fantastic and the meals, coffee and cake etc is lovely for parents. We travel a long distance to visit, however today will be my last time.On a few occasions that we have visited, i have found the staff quite cold. They have made me feel like they are doing me a favour, by giving them my business.Today, I turned up around 2pm after being in and around Durham. I thought we will pop in before the 25 minute drive home.When i walked in I got the sense we were not welcome, i said we havent booked is that

Absolutely fantastic soft-play for younger kids. Reasonable prices, really friendly staff and a great range of snacks and drinks. The staff keep the place ultra clean and tidy. Superb place to take little ones - my two year old loves it! Located on Belmont Business Park, not far from Broomside Park (Table Table). Plenty free parking.

Too many bad reviews lately for a great place to visit with the kids.I was here quite early on a Saturday morning for a party and fail to see how tables are squashed" together. There's plenty of room between each table
