Market Hall Hartlepool

This part of the centre is not worth visiting as most of the hall's traders have been relocated around the centre's empty shops due to problems with the building.

Most of the units are empty and the market hall is looking run down. It could be so much more but a lot of the things being sold is just cheap tat. The fruit and veg stalls are good quality and the butcher's meats are always fresh. Rent prices needs to be looked at to encourage more sellers to rent a unit and better advertising to encourage more shoppers.

While it isn't a full market hall the stalls that were there were interesting with bargains to be had. The used book and jigsaw stall had lots of choice. I got a delicious freshly made sandwich from a stall. There were fruit and veg stalls, card shops, sweet stalls etc. Well worth a look if you are in the area.

It's OK but shops are pretty basic and small

This market hall has lost alot of its character over the years with only a few stalls left open now. The present owners just seem to be happy to let it stay stagnant with no incentives to fill those empty stalls.

Run down only a few stalls in charging to much rent

More to choose from, than first thought. From handmade jewelry, charms, crystals, funko pop vinyls, marvel and dc collectibles. Pet Stall, Sweet Stalls, Hair products, Soaps, Toy stall, Card Stall, Baby Clothes, Carpet Stall, Fruit n Veg Stalls, Butchers, Bag/Purse Stall, E Cigs, Book Stall and Cafe. All Local Small Business Owners.

As soon as you enter the market from the 2nd floor of the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre you are hit with an empty stall which doesn't look good. As for the Market it has a book stall, a stall selling gems, butchers, sandwich stall, sweet stall, makeup stall, a eyebrow and lashes stall, faking it a stall that sells wigs and beauty products and a vape stall.The market hall does have some seating areas where you can eat your food.The stalls within the market are fine and it's good to support local businesses it's just a shame that a lot of the market hall is empty and the place seems unloved by Middleton Grange. Mark Rycraft it's about time you drop the rents and allow more local businesses to start up and get a foot in the door and give them a chance. It's bad enough this place is surrounded by the former What Everyone Wants store which hasn't been used since 2003.

Most of the stalls are empty. There are a few little gems amongst the empty stalls - bath bombs, Sandwich stall and butchers are lovely. Otherwise, its cold, dark and dingy. Sad as this could be a real assett to Middleton grange shopping centre
