Really interesting mill with lots of heritage. They have a meeting space for the local community which is really cool and they have a wonderful archive showing the history of the mill. Rare to meet people who are so passionate about what they do, the environment and wider than that the place they live and work in.

If I could give less than one star I would. Disgrace of a place for a Hgv driver. Pulled in with 4 hours to load, ended up pulling out. Came back in at 2am and still took hours to load me. Ended up missing the ferry due to the incompetence of this place. Sort it out

Absolute disgrace of a place. Four hours waiting to load, in that time they loaded one. Shift change comes and they load a lorry that's been here less time.If I ever come back here it'll be a day too soon. In my 15 years on the road covering UK and Europe this is up with the worst place I've loaded. 5 Hour's in the end. Places like this are the reason there's shortages on the shelves......

HGV Advice.... I collect reels from this site, so always use the North gate. Park in one of the three lanes and walk to security, where one one of the most miserable, unhelpful, attitude ridden people I’ve ever had the misfortune to meet, will inspect your trailer and let you in!Go and wait in a holding bay until you are called by shuntter or FLT driver. Back into bay and load, get paperwork from Mr grumpy on the way out!Guys who load and strap you are brilliant though!!!! So 3 stars for them!

Unbelievable, we've sent a euroliner with side boards and rear bars for 350 km 100% security of the load and ar the gate the driver was told to put straps on the load to pass the gate and remove them, this is unacceptable, useless management and we will reject any jobs that goes there.

The people in security and checking area are behavor...looks like a people with out any school play a big boss, kids with small pen..worst company ever seen in my driving carrer. They can only seat in containers and scrool fb-monkeys.

After reading some of the reviews I was dreading turning up. The three lads who I delt were friendly and very helpful from marshaling to the weighbridge to tipping a great bunch of lads, it was my first time on site and it was a pleasure.

Arrived for unloading on Friday around 4pm, friendly security at the gate let me in but the store was closed. Many thanks to North gate office because help me to return back next day 8am and a 5* forklift driver unloaded me in a minute!! For the 1st time there but nice experience, thanks all of you!!
