Started and finished a ride here. Top food, service and beer in lovely decor and plenty of space - inside, outside and in the car park. Definitely coming back.

Absolutely stunning makeover for a hidden gem! We are locals and visited a few years ago, and it was nothing compared to what it is now!The new huge expansion and development of a traditional country pub, but created for the modern demands of customer experience of great food and local produce, captured by natural beautiful surroundings is a 10 out 10!The staff were really knowledgeable and very helpful. The service was relaxed, and the new extension we sat in was really impressive, and the garden area was picture-perfect for anyone whether socially with family, or friends or romantically, this pub would suite anyone wanting to visit a real country pub tucked away off the beaten track.The menu offers up some mouth-watering delights, and they have specials every day and offer gluten-free options, which is clearly marked.The portions are very generous but plated up with care and foodie flare! We enjoyed every mouthful.It's dog friendly, with free ample parking, and I can imagine this pub will be a hot spot for locals and outside visitors for many years to come.Highly recommended!!! Come rain or shine. Thank you for your hospitality.

Just had the most delicious roast dinner and dessert. Food was faultless, service was great, can't recommend this place enough. Wish it was closer to home, but will still be returning. Thank you Adam, Yvonne and Duncan....flawless, and the family are in complete agreement!

The pub was well decorated with a lovely rustic style and atmosphere. Located in a beautiful countryside surrounding, over looked from the rear garden. The canvas canopy nicely sheltered you, with cute garden tables and chairs. Stone baked pizza was on offer. The interesting menu offered us great choice. The table service was very good. We really enjoyed the food, very well presented and oozing with flavour and texture but does come with a price. However, wished the dessert we chosen was more to our liking. This does not deter us from eating here again. Great find, wish there were more independent, well run pubs like this one. Highly recommended.

Honestly all I can say is the team have got it right! …The staff are super friendly! The atmosphere is warm! The food is amazing! The garden is beautiful! It’s my go to place to celebrate dinner or enjoy a dog walk and a drink. Thank you again guys will be back soon

Wonderful country pub serving generous tasty upmarket dishes. Great selection of real ales and IPAs. Excellent service made us comfortable and we were given a choice of tables. By the time we left they were all taken so book early to avoid disappointment. Thoughly enjoyed the scotch egg and short rib of beef.

Looking for a great pub for food and atmosphere this is the place!Had an evening meal here on the way to the coast and liked it so much we came back for breakfast. Staff were amazing, friendly and tentative.Dog friendly with lots of indoor and outdoor dining, plenty of room for the kids to roam about too.Will certainly be back!
