Mad World Fancy Dress
Really cheap and lots of options to choose from, either to buy or hire.I went there looking for a wig for a Labyrinth's Goblin King costume (thinking that I was gonna have to improvise the whole outfit) and came out with the whole costume!!The staff was incredibly lovely and really good at helping me put the outfit together!I would definitely recommend!!

Amazing fancy dress shop! I found it on my way to the post office and I wish I had known it was there before as ordered my kids costumes online already! I did purchase some special effect make up though and will be back. They have a great range of stock so if you need anything check here first

After a rather bitter experience with a store we visited on the same day we found Mad World Fancy Dress, we were welcomed at the door and the staff was extremely helpful and in Character wearing a costume :) the shop it self is big enough to accommodate a rather large selection of costumes and party tricks, prices were fair and could easily find a costume we liked of the right size, if that weren't enough they actually rent high quality costumes for parties. Impressed, thanks again :)

The young lady who attended to me was so kind and helpful. The other thing lady was very working also. The store has a treasure trove of costumes and trinkets. The prices are easy on the pocket too.

Cheap with loads of options. Staff were really friendly. It's really hard to find anything as the shop is very messy and not arranged by sizes. I went in looking for feathered wings (like an angel) and the staff have kindly helped me rummage and find what I needed.

Honestly such a great find! Was after a very last min kids costume for my daughters school assembly and this was open until 7pm! Jake & Charlotte were both overly helpful from the moment I called ahead explaining my last min panic. Jake personally was super sweet in ensuring my daughter who was so upset that the costume she wanted wasn’t in stock in her size was happy, that he went away and came back with improvised version and in fact gave us inspiration to pull something together from what we could buy. They saved the day! Definitely check the store out if you’re in fancy dress need - lots of stock and fab customer service.

The costume rental fees are extortionate. One of the shopkeepers tried to overcharge me for an item, and only went down to the normal price when I said I wouldn't buy it and began to leave. The item's rental price was more than 2 times the buy price, but they didn't have it in stock.
