Our tour guide Alex was phenomenal!! He has made this trip so memorable and shared with us bits and pieces of history and cracked wee jokes. The views were absolutely incredible and worth every penny. I would absolutely go on this tour again with Alex especially in the summertime. He has given us so much to look forward too and see on our next trip to Scotland. Just a really great guy and fantastic tour. Don’t hesitate, book this tour and ask for Alex, you won’t be disappointed!!

We have taken whole day highlands tour from Inverness. The tour was fantastic. The guide, who was also the driver, Alex, is the most friendly, polite and nice person who has good sense of humor and knows a lot of nice stories. We, my wife and me, are perfectly happy with the tour and with the guide Alex in particular. No negative experience to mention, only positive. Will definitely recommend to any of my friends who visit Scotland.

When booking this 12 hour tour of Isle of Skye from Inverness, we expected a good experience, as we had heard great things about the tour. However, having experienced this firsthand, it is easy to say that this tour exceeded our expectations right from the very beginning. Marita was an excellent guide; her incredible storytelling and narration as we drove away from Inverness and towards the Highlands was the perfect backdrop we needed to feel as if we were truly in a magical, fantastical and ancient land. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Had we had more time, we would have loved a longer tour of the highlands. But with limited time in Scotland, this tour was the perfect first experience of the magnificent Scottish highlands. We are looking forward to exploring the highlands again in the near future with Timberbush Tours!

October 2023. We had an absolutely amazing time on this tour. Having just experienced a tour on a larger bus, this was a welcomed change of pace and a great experience. Chris was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and at times (depending on the situation) flexible. Granted a few factors played into the flexibility. (Mainly everyone being on time and getting back to the bus). We opted to not take the boat tour in Fort Augustus. This gave us more time to leisurely roam around, grab lunch, and do some gift shopping. I would have enjoyed a little more time at the castle, but I also understand there is a lot to pack in if you want to be back at (our return time was 17:30). If you enjoy nature, this tour offers magnificent views of the highlands and several stops throughout. At no point in time did I feel that I was in the van for “too long”. We highly recommend this trip.

Loved loved loved this day! I highly recommend! So many beautiful sights! My husband and I booked this tour as part of our 20th anniversary trip and this was my favorite day in Scotland so far. This tour absolutely met and surpassed our expectations. So many cool things to see! Our tour guide was Chris and he was awesome! We enjoyed his stories, recommendations, and explanations of the areas we visited. He was also a very good driver. I never felt sick even though I often get car sick on windy roads.

I highly recommend the Isle of Skye tour. I did the one day tour with Andy S. from Inverness and he was a safe and professional driver with interesting commentary along the way. I enjoy a good tale and Andy had a few to regale us withI enjoyed the landscapes.If you are considering this tour it is about the land and all of the spectacular views with a wee bit of history for context.My only recommendation is on other tours the drivers offered to take a few pictures for folks. I don’t know if this is possible with regulated break times but I noticed many doing selfies which never turn out right or maybe one spot where it could be offered?

We did the isle of skye tour. It was a smaller group which was nice and didn’t have to wait for anyone returning late to the bus. Our guide was knowledgeable and a good driver. We hit many major sights. The bus itself was way too hot so it was very uncomfortable for the long periods of driving.

I did the 2 day tour of the Isle of Skye through Timberbush and it was by far one of the best tours I have done.Our tour guide Sandy was so knowledgeable, he ensured we were getting all of the relevant information. Took his time to explain things in detail.Sandy took time with each of us to get to know our story. All the sights were so beautiful and we had plenty of time at each spot. The bus was comfortable and had ports to charge your phone.I selected the option to stay on the island and they sorted all the accommodation for me. I stayed at Tongadale Hotel. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing!
