I found the whole experience an absolute treat! Upon arrival, Lesley-Anne was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable straight away. The therapy room was lovely and homely. I didn’t know what to expect beforehand, but Lesley-Anne put me at ease when she explained that I just needed to relax and allow myself some self-care time. This is exactly what it was, and I can’t remember feeling that relaxed in such a long time! The tone, volume and speed of her voice was pitched just right in my opinions. It’s so helpful receiving a voice recording after the sessions as I’m now able to continue listening to this in my own time. Thanks so much, I really appreciate your time!

Lesley has been a great support the last couple of years through what was a difficult time. With her support and knowledge, I have been able to use her advice and support to manage anxiety and stress and look at things differently than what I did before. She is calm, patient and listens so well, I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs to talk in a safe and comfortable space.

I went to see Lesley-Anne for counselling after losing my Dad and before returning to work, as paid for by my employer. Lesley-Anne was so patient and understanding, and I felt safe to open up. Lesley-Anne helped me to identify my avoidance behaviours and start facing things head on. I can't recommend the service enough and would definitely recommend Lesley-Anne for counselling.

After losing our only child (daughter) and then her mum (my wife) in 2021 I knew I needed help/support in coming to terms with everything in my mind after spending years supporting my wife through the progressive MS condition.I tried the various organisations that we can all find online but was repeatedly told I would have to wait for many months, in fact one called me back after 8 months! I couldn't wait and found L A Counselling via a google search.Made the phone call and Lesley-Anne contacted me and offered to come and talk to me.Now I had someone I could talk to and not only that didn't judge me in any form, I was angry with many things because I was grieving. The amount of mind tool systems I was taught is exceptional and I now know I have them all at my disposal should I need them. Not only that Lesley-Anne is always within reach, for me that was a great comfort blanket, I wasn't on my own inside my mind anymore.Every session I had was intuitive and helped me process everything correctly, making sure my own mind was safe and could begin rebuilding my life once more.I decided to purchase a road bike to give my life a new focus, the aim was to ride from Lands End to John o' Groats in 12 days. Lesley-Anne fully supported and once again offered the various mind tools I may need whilst also making sure my mind was safe.If you are going through bereavement and want to talk to someone who understands then LA Counselling is the place you need. I cannot thank Lesley enough for her support and teaching me some valuable life lessons. I was extremely anxious and facing traumatic flashbacks before seeking help.
